If your having 60g of dextrose or some other simple carb after workout to replace glucose for recovery, how is there not a risk of developing diabetes?
Because 60g of carbs is meaningless compared to total carb, and calorie, intake over a longer period of time.
Also, the workout itself increases insulin sensitivity which is pretty much the opposite of what is required for diabetes.
