Post up them giant Calves!

Highly genetic, but as a teenager all I did was ride a mountain bike and I actually raced and probably put in over 50 miles a week on the regular. When I stopped riding and got into the gym it transferred over very well.

For starters, you can’t skip them, I think a lot of guys skip calves because they just assume it’s 100% genetic and see it as a losing battle so they don’t bother. Most of my calf work nowadays are sets of 50 reps, followed by super heavy sets of 12-15 reps. I’m always mixing it up
I did a lot of mountain biking as a teenager also. Mostly long distances. Mostly in the rural areas of the San Diego desert. I'm sure it helped with my calve development. Biking is great for calves.
