I’m always switching it up.
I also like the gardien ground beef for tacos or pasta meat sauce, sometimes the gardien meatballs, sometimes tempeh tacos,

A cheat meal for me is pizza or sesame tofu

I didn’t start lifting until I stopped being an alcoholic coke head eight years ago.
So vegan for seven years and this is the first cycle I’ve even ran as a non vegan.
Interesting. I’m also about 8 years clean, well going on 9 in September from pills/heroin. Been vegan/dairy free for 5. i never stuck with training do to the addiction. i'd pull together 3 months or 4 month sober and would try and get back in the gym but a relapse would push me back to another 1 year run. i was always an athlete prior so i tried hard to get back to that but the addiction was to strong at that time.

my diet is like this:

4am vegan shake

6am post workout vegan shake with carb supp

8am high protein edamame pasta
high protein tofu or tempeh
vegan cheese melted
guacamole
veggie

10am vegan protein bar

lunch high protein pasta
some sort of tofu
veggie

2pm protein bar

6pm dinner another soy protein with veggie and quinoa

soy soy soy! been doing this for years. no male tities,no estrogen issues. but i'm ready for a change. now that i have 14 straight months in training i think i'm bringing salmon/tuna back

BTW, i starte training at 185, i'm 223lbs now as vegan. i don't buy that meat is necessary. my new plan is going to be 1/3 my diet fish for now just to switch it up

First off congratulations on your sobriety.
I have done ton of drugs man, I mean a lot!!
I quit doing acid when I was 25yrs prob ate over 500 doses and I’m not even a hippy.
Alcohol, Shrooms, weed, And molly are still on the menu. Cocaine was my downfall!!
With my obvious addictive personality, I stayed away from pills and heroine like the plague. I hope my meals I listed gives you some new ideas. Most of them are completely vegan anyway.

yeah they do although my stomach and seitan don't agree.

i'm as content as i ever been. i have a glass of win or a beer maybe twice a year. other than that i'm clean. i even have my medical marijuana card and i'm probably the only idiot that doesn't buy weed. lol. i'll get 16:1 or 5:1 cbd products which there is no high. i'm at a good place. its taken years and years to get to this point that everyone told me existed. tbh, i don't even think the people trying to help me even know this feeling of contentment. maybe its just an emotion associated with relief, relief of not having to fight cravings that felt physical, or chasing a high or avoiding withdrawals. not really sure. the weight training has added to this feeling.its truly a positive replacement i look forward to. the intricate diets, meal plans, supplements, aas, science, reports, etc are all things for my addictive mind to focus on and keep stimulated.

I’m glad content with being clean. Like you I barely drink anymore. I haven’t been drunk since late March and I’m a bartender. Though once I come off blast I’m defending going to let loose bit.

It seems like we have a pretty similar trane of thought. I’m lucky enough to have some control now like you do. It truly is a wonderful feeling to not crave and wake up everyday haggard and looking like shit. Also traveling around the world on Buddhist pilgrimage changed my life! And with it my diet and yes body building have opened up my mind and changed my life for the better.

Ha , people even tell me I should be a trainer or dietitian, weird! I’m. I’m completely self taught but consider myself pretty educated on vegan and vegetarian diets.

Pretty interesting,Im not vegan or something but my diet style is low protein high carbs moderate fat.

I know that will never be shredded without pharm but I feel speed and flexible. And can dosage the portions very well.

I believe that diet must be health to your mind.I eat meat/fish/chicken a lot healthy fats saturateds too but the big deal to me is temper the nervous system.
