If m_ob is eating 2200+ calories per day at 170 lbs complaining of wasting away then what the hell is wrong with me since I'm 110lbs heavier, exercising with a cleaner diet and just slowly losing weight eating 2400 calories per day? Sort of a rhetorical question - not here to take the focus off m_ob but it's funny how these things work.

Okay, well I'll start with today:
Breakfast:
2 pb n j's on whole wheat bread (SUGAR) with a glass of milk (SUGAR) (not a normal breakfast for me, I was rushed)

Snack: pistachios

Lunch: two chicken breasts on buns (SUGAR), mixed veggies, and clam chowder (WHEAT FLOUR as part of the rue - SUGAR) (one bowl) with two 8 oz. glasses of v8 juice

Snack: more pistachios (love me some pistachios) with a can of Arnold Palmer tea (SUGAR)

Supper: I was lazy and went to subway. Footlong flatbread (SUGAR) steak and cheese

Snack: before bed (cottage cheese, little whey, scoop of pb, scoop of frozen yogurt, scoop of oats and blended)

Bread, bread, bread. Shit! Sugar, sugar, sugar.

Whole wheat bread has a higher GI than a Snickers Bar!

Lose the wheat and sugar!

NORMAL blood glucose is about 5 gm or ONE TEAspoon of sugar. You're at 3x that amount at breakfast.

Alright, you're missing the point..I was able to grow and feel good on a diet similar to this a year ago. There are no variables as far as nutrition is concerned. I was a solid 185 eating this way, but now something is fucked up

I'm not saying that's the cause of your problems. I'm only saying that's not a good diet. You gained in spite of it and, after a time, it will limit you.

Some of the vague symptoms m_ob has do remind me of my struggles with inflammation. Especially the poor response to exercise. Sometimes my body cannot cope with the added inflammation of exercise, which is likely due to my issues with chronic inflammation.

I don't have the answer to overcoming the situation, but overtraining really does seem to be an issue of self-inflicted chronic inflammation

I think With MOB's case there's a definite mental component -- which can definitely cause, inflammation. Many overactive sympathetic nervous system, screws you up proper.

Talkng about the mental aspect. My gf who is very stable goes to a therapists weekly to get an unbiased view.on what ever it is. Most of.time its work related. If you have insurance use.it to.maxium potential every way possible..

will the future ms hans continue to go to a therapist or will being married to you solve ALL of her "problems"?? [:o)]:D

I actually have her go to a trusted colleague where he would handle any issues. You never "treat" your loved one. I do get any labs I need done and check certain levels. I only trust a few people with her health. In return I work with the Doctor's son case. I work with many Physicians and their families
