In an effort to get to the bottom of why I've lost so much weight, I went to see my doc today. I told him I've lost a little over 10 lbs with no real changes to diet or exercise, and that I've felt weaker than usual lately. He then went on to ask me what my diet consists of. I listed off the foods I eat on a daily basis: oatmeal, cereal, tacos, hamburgers, rice, peanut butter, ice cream, crab meat, chicken, pasta, soups, casseroles, hamburger helper..the list goes on. After pondering all of this for a few moments, he looked at me and said, "I'm not hearing of a lot of fruits or vegetables". I said no, they're not exactly cheap and not my main focus.

He then went on to explain to me in a nutshell that the lack of fruits and vegetables in my diet was the reasons I was losing weight. He said he sees it all the time in ex-wrestlers, too much focus on what kinds of foods go into their mouth. CLEARLY I don't pay much attention to eating healthy if I'm not eating fruits or vegetables!! Apart from that, I told him that all of the foods I'm eating now are the foods that I gained 40 lbs by eating a little over 2 years ago. He said that was probably just my metabolism at the time, and that sometimes it slows down as we age..which makes absolutely NO sense considering I'd be gaining weight if that were the case.

He then told me that we could do a comp metabolic and a thyroid test just to be sure, but that he wanted me to eat more fruits and veggies then return to him in about a month..

I'm seriously thinking about taking matters into my own hands. If this BW checks out, I might just add some EQ to my TRT. Yes, fuck I know I'll get flamed for this but my appetite isn't what it once was, and what if that's the root of my problem? For some odd reason, my appetite won't support the frame and mass I want and once had. Its bull shit that I can't get to the actual bottom of this, but if I have to fucking do it anyway. Fucking EQ is mild in sides anyway, not extremely anabolic but who gives a fuck when all I need to do is eat, the rest will fall in.
So fucking bash me for it, I'm taking matters into my own hands.

Your doctor could be onto something. I myself havent been eating ANY fruits and vegetables the past few months - i mean i drink orange juice and v8 juice and sometimes i will have a bannana or apple but i dont eat much otherwise. And i feel like i am wasting away too.

I am going to take his advice and eat more fruits and vegetables.

HAN, I've had a TTG test and do NOT display any of the celiac/wheat allergy symptoms. I take beautiful, perfectly well-shaped turds, I don't experience abdominal pains, and I haven't had diarrhea in the past year. Its not that. And for Tyler, I don't understand how this would be the magical answer, if anything it would cause me to lose more weight because they're lower in calories. When someone says they're going to bulk they don't list a diet of leafy greens and bowls upon bowls of fruit. Its completely ridiculous to believe this is it.

I can tell you that the last thyroid lab I had done came back in the low(ish) side of the range, and I've heard something along the lines of high T fucking with the thyroid. As I understand poor thyroid function COULD VERY WELL LEAD TO FLABBINESS AND LOSS OF MUSCLE TONE!!! Potentially a connection? OR look at it this way:
Test is too high --> thyroid fucked up --> appetite goes down because metabolisms slows --> appetite loss contributes to advanced catabolism and an even slower metabolism --> this leads to us wondering what the fuck happened WHEN WE ARE AT THE EXACT SAME WEIGHT (give or take five pounds) BUT LOOK LIKE WE'VE GAINED 10 IN FAT AND LOST 20 IN MUSCLE. I'm going to figure this bitch out, I just don't know exactly how yet.

That thyroid lab, by the way, is right here:

Free T4 0.91 0.75 - 1.76 ng/dL

TSH 2.35 0.35 - 5.50 mIU/mL

Testosterone 1351 ng/dL (This was at the end of a week, so a trough level)
YES, my T was HIGH, but this was before I finally came down to 100 mg a week. Coincidence that my thyroid is looking a little sluggish?

Tyler wtf didn't u just post the other day you were getting FATTER? Now today u say your wasting away? Lol this is like bizarro world.

Low thyroid could account for both to occur at the same time?

Or terrible diet. Your thyroid numbers don't look horrible although it doesn't hurt to investigate. Plus I saw your pics you posted up a few weeks ago. I'm sorry but you look perfectly normal in fact maybe better in your "after" pics. I've seen you post enough and you keep dropping hints about deca, now Eq, etc. go ahead and run those compounds. Then come off and report back here 3 months later how your cock won't work and your flabbier than ever. Your test dose was probably a touch high. Give things some time to settle before doing something extremely idiotic. As for Tyler, shit you can't trust a thing he says from one day to the next.

1) What was the time frame that you lost the weight?

2) Appx hw many calories are you consuming per day? Can you breakdown the ratios - %protein, %fat,%carbs - you must consume adequate protein otherwise your body will breakdown the muscle faster than it can be rebuilt - this could explain why you feel weaker - what are you eating per meal

3) If you want to increase the amount of calories you consume you must eat calorie dense foods - coconut oil, olive oil, eggs, nuts, heavy cream, full fat meats, potatoes, bread, peanut butter, fruits like bananas, etc

whole wheat bread = approximately 69 calories per slice, one once of cheddar cheese = 113 calories, one banana contains approximately 100 calories one ounce of peanut butter = 165 calories, one ounce of walnuts = 183 calories

This is on the same diet, same training, literally synonymous lifestyles, only a year and a half apart. Its way too obvious.

The pictures are of shitty quality, and don't make a good comparison, but I can assure you there is a huge difference. Not to mention my strength decreases in pretty much every lift.

again ill ask..are u also on hcg? If so whats your dose? Your trough is fing 1300? How long have you been on a cycle? I ask not as a smartass but because if your trough is 1300 your waaaay above baseline. I feel like this is causing issues for sure. Id drop hcg if your taking that and ride out the 100/wk for awhile whilst keeping other variables the same and see what happens. You look like estrogen is running amock in pic number 2 above(the first 2 you posted in the blue shirt). Just my opinion. And The inflammatory food thing doesnt present this way in my opinion. I have celiac disease. You may improve a little by cutting out dairy and grains for a bit. But I think your trt is quite fucked up as far as dosage. But you already knew this.

I was on HCG, I stopped about a month ago. Will I be able to regain fertility again someday? Regardless of that, I've been back down to 100 mg a week for the past 4 months, so my trough now is probably in the 400's. I don't know if its actually helping me to wait it out and see what happens, I'm so use to seeing results almost instantly.

Which pic are you talking about?

I was talking about the second pic you posted on its own on this page(blue shirt 2nd pic). IMO,id clean up the diet as best you can, eliminate dairy and grains...I do think in your case the ultra high trt dose for so long has messed w your thyroid to an extent.I think hcg was probably causing you to produce much more T than you thought it was and you probably at some point had E2 take over.. Now its gonna take some time to get back to normal, you kinda just have to accept that at this point. Im baffled as to how any doctor thought it was ok for your levels to remain so high for so long without intervening....

I have to say the last picture in the black shirt I wouldn't even think you work out....well not your arms anyway.

Tyler wtf didn't u just post the other day you were getting FATTER? Now today u say your wasting away? Lol this is like bizarro world.

It's both. It's like im not putting on muscle and my body isnt as tight as before.

I actually think i've figured that out. Its the wellbutrin. I had totally forgot but it has a weight loss effect combined with the fact ive been eating like shit. That explains it.

Its the skinny fat guy effect. Im sure you know what that looks like.
