Haven't posted here in forever...but I just bought some phenibut powder from 1fast400 and I'm curious about people's experiences with it? I've heard some really great first hand reviews of the stuff so I'm not too worried. I'm mainly looking to use it for occassional insomnia and restlessness related to using Ephedrine, Caffeine and Yohimbine...and possibly for my social anxiety if the stuff is worthwhile in that capacity. I'm close to going to my psychiatrist for a benzo to help with my situational anxiety..so I'm hoping that this will help me avoid having to go that route. Any thoughts from yalls?

I just came on t to ask about it. Saw your post. Can you let us know how you liked it,what it did exactly, how long it took, etc. I was looking for something to take ont 2 night per week to help me get to sleep fast and wake up refreshed to workout in AM .Not for anything else.
Have a feeling that this stuff might have a hang over effect which is what I dont want. Thanks.

from what i've read, it does have a hangover effect especially if you use a large dose. for what you need i wouldn't take phenibut. it's used to achieve a state of calmness and alertness so i don't think it's good for sleep. for sleep you can try something like melatonin. 3mg a 1/2 hour before bedtime and it's good night irene.... sweet dreams.

I do take melatonin sublingual by source naturals but in my case tho only take it twice 10mgs is what I need.
I am satisfied with it but wanted to see how the phenibut worked. I imagine you take the reg melatonin that never worked for me have you ever tried the Source naturals sublingual?
Chances are I will stick with the melatonin but when somethung new comes out that sparks my interest I like to find out about it if it has a hang over affect than no way that is exactly what I do not want.
Thanks.

It's actually pretty decent, it's easy to fall into the placebo category with something so light but I do believe it works in calming you down. Don't expect a benzo type of experience, it's more subtle and in turn you can effectively work/think/whatever. I haven't used it in a while but I used to use 3/4th of a tablespoon. You don't feel it 'kick in', you just realize a few hours later that you are calm, and you realize why.

It does work very well depending on how much you use. The first time I used it, I took quite a bit and it will make you very relaxed and slightly euphoric...which was nice. A smaller dose seemed to make me just more calm, but not sleepy or anything. With the larger amount I did have a hangover which included some dizziness when waking up...but actually I did some cardio that day and it seemed to go by so much faster and I was able to do higher resistance, it felt like my muscles were warmed up right from the start. So maybe it would be useful as a muscle relaxer too. So overall I'd say its very effective in reducing anxiety and tension, I'm just not sure what I'm going to use it for yet...I thought its best use for helping with normal everyday anxiety and/or social anxiety, it makes you nice and relaxed and more talkative. But for insomnia I'll have to try it more to see...the first time when I tried it for that I liked the buzz and tried to stay awake, so I dunno...but its worth the money I think.

That's just the thing, when I first got it I was under the impression that I'd use it every morning. I then realized it required multiple dosing if I was going to 'live on it'. So now I just keep it stored here and might pull it out in certain stressful situations. I've also heard of some guys taking too much and suffering some nasty hangovers. I started at 1/4th tbsp (a serving) and continually worked up. Never did anything for me as far as putting me to sleep, but if you find yourself (like many others) to feel stress building up in the later hours that may then be your ideal dosing time.

Your using the Vitamin shoppe brand? I order from them but never tried their own brand. Thought it might be junk.
I wish 3mgs worked for me but it takes 10mg. I must say though 10 to 15 minutes max after I take it and I am out. The only type that ever worked for me is the sublingual.
