Imho fasted cardio put more stress in the body, also depend on intesities like if its sub lt1 maybe ur gtg but doing an effort at high lt 1 or fatmax is another thing

If the goal is to maximize oxidation of free fatty acids staying at near LT1 (LT2 would be upper limit) is preferred. Then again, youre metabolizing free fatty acids as energy substrate, and how much of that results in meaning fat loss that you can quantify?

Challenges are, how do you measure if yoire at/near LT1-LT2 if youre not actively pricking fingers. A preferred field method is heart rate monitoring and then anaerobic threshold (AT) becomes the variable being monitored.

For those following along, LT and AT, although very similar, measure 2 different physiological phenomenas, however pretty much mean the same thing.

According to published data, caloric deficit is trumps any argument of fasted vs fed cardio in regards to body composition in the non enhanced community.

In my opinion that was done to keep try loose more muscle mass in the upper body as possible while keeping the lower mass(thats why high protein)

To know where u are in lactate ranges isnt sufficient to use lactate meter and use 4mmol/l for lt2 and 2mmol/l for lt1?
OLav alexander bu(uno x and blummenfelt coach) let them check a lot lactate levels afterr an interval
Ofc without it using a power meter or hrm its gtg
Btw its not really for fat loss(im 66kg 183cm) just a cyclist and passionate abt physiology (bu im sure i know 0.001% of what u know) my fav physiologist is ronnestadt with the case study with block peoridization with hiit

Yes, however now you're crossing over into athletic performance. Its a whole different ball game than pure body composition goals.

The goal is now, "how to i perform optimally" and no longer "how do I look my best"

For body composition goals, theres little merit in monitoring LT or AT. For athletic performance, especially in endurance sports, improving LT/AT is 80% of the equation
 
20% of me wants to wait to see what 12mg of enclo does to my labs at the 12 week follow up with urologist.
If fertility will be an ongoing concern, running enclo on its own to see how it effects your estradiol might be a good idea. If you started test, and used enclo along side it for fertility- and had a huge estradiol spike, you wouldn't know which one it was from. See how you respond to it on it's own if it is something you think you will need to include in your plan.

I did this with hcg before starting test because I was scared of having shrunken balls. Learned that hcg had a very minimal (2 point) effect on my estradiol. Got used to shrunk balls though and don't run hcg now.

I think most come off test when it's time to get her pregnant, and run pct of hcg, and/or enclo and hope the boys wake back up. I've also heard stories of dudes accidentally getting girls knocked up while using test....

Wow I totally forgot about bodpod. I've only seen them in university facilities and it's been a long time since that was part of my world. I've never used one. What do you think of it?

I used the bodpod as a newbie since it was a shiny toy, buts its a hassle to set up, calibrate, prep the subject, and instruct them correctly. Now it mostly sits in the corner untill some VIP wants to use it for IG clout or nostalgia

A lot. After a few months on exogenous test they will be half their original size or less

That explains why I've only seen them in university facilities

some people shrink them more, some people less.
Good rule of thumb is: the bigger they start the more they can shrink.
Usually around 50% shrinkage.

From starting to now I personally lost 60% of size, but i know people who started out so small that they did not see changes at all.

mine actually increased in size. i started hcg at the same time i started test so i think thats why. ive never went without hcg though so im sure theyd shrink if i dropped it.

my 'fluid' volume dropped though. Also, color/texture was not exactly the same.
