the bottle lasts about a month. I also like the fact I only need 3 capsules, otherwise I would be taking 10-13 capsules minimum. And stuff like
Chromax® (Branded) not the
Generic Chromium Picolinate is hard to find, I couldn't find one quickly
. Most of the ingredients can be found cheaply but of the main 4:
- Dihydroberberine (GlucoVantage)
- Na-R-ALA
- Banaba (Corosolic Acid)
- Chromium Picolinate
The bottom 2 are hard to find at the potent formulation for the optimal absorption as for example I need a specific amount of Corosolic acid and the Brande chroma is what was used in clinical trials to produce the effects I want. Generic chromium is fine to meet normal chromium needs if ur not using it for what I am.
These are 2 of the 4 I found and these 2 rack up to $30 a month so overall I'd expect the monthly cost of the ingredients to reach a good $45 minimum, which would be very best case scenario.
Nutricost Dihydroberberine Capsules (200mg, 60 Capsules) = 30 day supply for $22
Nutricost R-Alpha Lipoic Acid 100mg, 120 Capsules @ $21 = at 200mg it's considered a 60 day supply = $10.50 monthly cost
All in all, the amount of capsules I'd need alone is enough for me to pay the premium tbh. But you can probably source most of the ingredients I guess cheaper but not sure amount finding the right formulations and bioavailability.
I value the convenience tbh, as you're looking at 11 separate ingredients, and some need 2 capsules per serving.
