It's a big red flag for paypal to get into the crypto market and not allow people to transfer out to external wallets not to mention monitoring users who jump into their crypto trap.

Stay away from crypto on Paypal!!

They don't actually provide real Bitcoin. It's a derivative. Can't transfer what you don't have. It's like "paper gold". Buy gold stock and there is only pixie dust and no real gold. Gold under the mattress is real, otherwise, it's a derivative. With Bitcoin, no personal keys, no Bitcoin.

Yes, it's much like a mutual fund but rather than holding stocks and bonds it holds crypto and like with an ordinary mutual fund you have no direct control over the assets held.
