Optimal calories for maximum testosterone

There is no cutoff really. A deficit will eventually suppress your test and HPG axis. Definitely be at maintenance or maybe like 200 cal over. There's no magic formula to it. Just don't be in a deficit.
 
You need the building blocks, no matter the amount of calories. You should be consuming cholesterol (eggs are good) and zinc. There are many other things too, so it's important you have a good multi vitamin. If you have the cholesterol and the vitamins, you can go low on the calories
