I know you've said you have a coach. But what makes you guys decide the when & why to add in lantus?Zero right now adding lantus soon
When do you time your meals with this? Assume you get a majority of your carbs pre workout?
Think I over researched and now I second guess how I should time my meals with HGH bolus dosing.
I dont think it really matters. I remember hearing someone say that the whole empty stomach dosing is bullshit I dont remember who said it but it was a good source.
Seems like we are waiting till carbs are up a bit more I’m around 350 daily right nowI know you've said you have a coach. But what makes you guys decide the when & why to add in lantus?
I don’t really ask many questions I just do as told and don’t complain much lolX2 @CHIEF M …. I don’t think I’ll start insulin but the topic is interesting.
Thanks for the tip I took 250mg last night and didn’t have the CTS at night wild lolmagnesium.

Yeah I’m going to do 500mg tonightWas about to mention I increased my magnesium dose became of that tip and carpel relief was very noticeable.
What form of magnesium are you and @Ghoul talking about?Yeah I’m going to do 500mg tonight
What form of magnesium are you and @Ghoul talking about?
I’m specifically referring to Magnesium Threonate, which has a profound impact on many aspects of wellbeing, sleep, mood, cognition, heart function. It uses a unique form of magnesium engineered by MIT to cross the blood brain barrier. Something like 70% of adults have detectable magnesium deficiency in the brain, and almost immediately you can feel this stuff having an impact. It’s not subtle like most other supplements, at all.
Be sure to get one that uses “Magtein” as the active ingredient. Sports Research and a few other brands on Amazon offer it. Costco also sells the Sports Research brand.
It’s the most expensive form of Magnesium but well worth it.
I just happened to be updating myself about it after increasing the dose today, and came across some info that mentions it take 6 weeks to full replenish magnesium “stores”, for maximum benefit and stable levels, but you will feel it from day one.
OK, that makes sense. I have the Sports Research from Costco/Amazon too. I take 2 caps in the morning and 2 caps right before bed. (note: 3 caps = 144mg)
Maybe I'll up the dose at night (4 caps?) and see if I can tell a difference.
I read somewhere that Peter Attia takes some in the morning which is why I switched to AM/PM dosing.
