MESO-Rx Sponsor Opti USA DOMESTIC - HGH, INJECTABLES, TABLETS, PEPTIDES, & MISC

When do you time your meals with this? Assume you get a majority of your carbs pre workout?

Think I over researched and now I second guess how I should time my meals with HGH bolus dosing.

I dont think it really matters. I remember hearing someone say that the whole empty stomach dosing is bullshit I dont remember who said it but it was a good source.

Agree (I've said it in the past but don't know if that's where you saw it)

GH dose timing is minutiae

If you want more effects of GH, take more GH

4 IU → 6 IU is gonna be way more effective than 'optimal' timing of 4 IU

What form of magnesium are you and @Ghoul talking about?

I’m specifically referring to Magnesium Threonate, which has a profound impact on many aspects of wellbeing, sleep, mood, cognition, heart function. It uses a unique form of magnesium engineered by MIT to cross the blood brain barrier. Something like 70% of adults have detectable magnesium deficiency in the brain, and almost immediately you can feel this stuff having an impact. It’s not subtle like most other supplements, at all.

Be sure to get one that uses “Magtein” as the active ingredient. Sports Research and a few other brands on Amazon offer it. Costco also sells the Sports Research brand.

It’s the most expensive form of Magnesium but well worth it.

I just happened to be updating myself about it after increasing the dose today, and came across some info that mentions it take 6 weeks to full replenish magnesium “stores”, for maximum benefit and stable levels, but you will feel it from day one.

I was wondering the same thing. I’ve read a lot of articles where they say magnesium is best absorbed through the skin. Ointments or bath salts is what those articles push…. You never know if it’s true or just marketing.

OK, that makes sense. I have the Sports Research from Costco/Amazon too. I take 2 caps in the morning and 2 caps right before bed. (note: 3 caps = 144mg)

Maybe I'll up the dose at night (4 caps?) and see if I can tell a difference.

I read somewhere that Peter Attia takes some in the morning which is why I switched to AM/PM dosing.

For what it’s worth, I have no doubt the increased magnesium dose is relieving the carpal symptoms. They’re much less severe.

I try to take all meds in the morning (just for compliance sake, It’s part of my morning routine).

When I started using it, it was in the evening, But I’d sleep so well I wouldn’t wake up with the alarm lol.

From what I now understand, once you reach saturation, 6-8 weeks (accumulates in bones and brain), time of day no longer matters because you’ve got the same stable amount floating “free” in your bloodstream. Ie, morning dose still aids sleep.

Unfortunately I didn’t get baseline bloods, but I’ll get RBC Mag and Serum Magnesium tests to see where I stand, (hopefully at optimal levels).

Just got word from @Opti that the gold tops aren’t sold out currently the black top sell messed up his inventory count and will be fixed in a day or two
