Online brew calculator

Just add 5% extra to your raw weight...

Do you just add 5% extra to the raw weight or do you add 5% extra to your mg/ml. Eg. you want 100 mg/ml and make it at 105mg/ml. If you put in 105mg/ml in your brew calculator it will also change the carrier oil amount where as just adding 5% to raw weight will not. Just wondering what is the correct way.

Just do the math... What's going to happen to the total raw weight if you increase the mg/ml by 5%? Conversely, what's going to happen to the mg/ml if you increase the raw weight by 5%?

They’re the same, but when using the bass killer calc, just increasing raw weight doesn't alter the mL’s of carrier oil needed, where as adding 5% to the mg/ml does.

Whatever formula it's working off of isn't meant to calculate that... To be honest, I don't know why it does that. But you're talking about what.. a ml or less difference in oil?

Ya, .472 ml difference on a 100 ml brew is what I calculated lol. So it’s negligible. I was just use to using the PPL calc that had the OD feature built in, and I had never paid attention to what values it actually altered.
