Old Symptoms?

Question bros.
Took my test shot last night 200mg of test cyp. Shot went good - right in to the muscle, no bleeding, or etc. This morning I woke up with a splitting head ache but another symptom I had not had since starting therapy 1 year ago. Depression. Nothing to be sad or upset about, life is going great. Just bam - woke up this morning came to work and I have felt like all day I could go sit in the corner and cry like a girl. This was one symptom I had pretty bad before HRT. And a little background for those who have not read any of my other posts. Was on 5g Androgel daily for about 13 months. Two weeks ago switched to injections. Got my first one at the docs office, gave myself my own shot last night.

Any ideas or just a fluke? Only other thing I am taking right now is Alavert-D, Glucophase XR (http://www.1fast400.com/p1607_Glucophase_XR_Designer_Supplements.html)
, and a multi.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry Jay, but I'm the only girlyman around here. There's no room for another. Don't make me ban you pal!!!! ;)

Seriously though, you're taking the shots every two weeks, right? If so, you have to realize that by the 10th day or so your levels are dropping pretty low, and by the 14th day, you may be below your baseline from when you began. Then, when you take your next shot, your levels take a couple of days to climb back up. You may be better off going with 100 once a week. That's what I'm doing, and even with that I'm still getting somewhat of an emotional roller coaster effect - it's always the worst the day of and the day after my shot.

Also, don't discount the possibility that you're getting sick from something unrelated. Either way, by Saturday you should know for sure.

Good idea. Since this was my second I wasn't sure what to expect. With the first shot I still had Anrogel on that morning and it was prob a little smoother. If I start feeling better by Saturday, I'll know for sure.

Do either of you gentlemen use HCG during mid point between T shots? Also an increase in estrogen levels may cause emotional changes. Noticed as I hit the Post Reply button that you take glucophage. Phase 2 diabetes? You know that low blood sugar levels also can cause depression?

I like this protocol:
Day 1: 75mg Test Cyp IM
Day 2: normal day
Day 3: HCG
Day 4: 75mg Test Cyp IM
Day 5: normal
Day 6: HCG

I think this oughta take the edge out of climbing/crashing.

Earthdogs scores!

Krom, that is indeed a good regimen. For most men the dosing of the test cyp would take them quite a bit above the top of normal range, though.

I am not on HCG or anything else. That was Glucophase - a new kind of ALA. Suppose to help clear your blood of carbs faster and get more protein in the muscles...yada yada yada. I do feel a bit better today. Not as foggy.

You think 50 to 60mg is more reasonable?

i think swale means approx 2 injections of 50 mg in your protocol as he recommends most men get in normal range with 75-100mg test cyp/week.his starting point by IM is 100/mg week by single injection after a frontload of 200mg.
i am not sure how many people suffer from a hormonal rollercoaster while using a single dosing schedule as i was of the opinion injecting weekly rather than fortnightly would keep blood levels stable.earthdog expresses he does on once weekly shots.
if needed for the like of earthdog it would be better "stabbing"yourself twice a week, for others once will be adequate.
krom in your protocol what happens on day 7?
is it a normal day,or do you go back to day one with a cyp injection?

TRT medications are titrated by appropriate laboratory analysis.

If you are above the top of normal range, you soon will find the positive benefits of TRT dissipating, then becoming quite negative. This is usually the point when men want to INCREASE their dose. As serum levels are rising they feel good, but they are just on the roller coaster again.
