OEP LABS Domestic

You should avoid mixing oil and water bases in the same syringe. Long story short it can lead to an abscess and or infection.

You can search Meso or Google for the scientific reason you shouldn’t mix them- it is a good read and nothing wrong with learning about it.
I will read, and have heard that before. It is probably true for higher volume injections where there is pooling of the oil/water for a long period of time. I probably should have clarified that I only have 0.5cc insulin pins so that’s my largest volume injection. Generally I do not mix oil + water, but think it’s low risk for smaller volumes.

I know another doc who actively promotes it, for convenience in using GH + Test. For us bodybuilder types using more than that. doing multiple injections per day is pretty standard I think so easy enough to separate the two.

Yeah I mean honestly, it doesn't really make sense to me

But people are like "duh everyone knows this is how you get an abscess" ??

Right. All of this info is 3rd party reporting and anecdotal reports. I’ve never had an abscess and don’t know anyone (in person) who has had one from pinning. It just doesn’t seem too common.

That’s why I suggest people read up on it. Even if the % is extremely low, it seems like a better safe than sorry thing.
