Just the standard butyl rubber will give you better chemical resistance to BB than silicone.

I wish you were next to me year after year inspecting the stoppers prior to placing them yes i know what the literature states but once i made the switch the failure rate decreased. Hey but i hear you.

Tell you what this goes for all the community. If any stopper of mine fails or swells I will refund the entire order no questions asked. I stand behind that 100%

Sometimes it’s not the material in which failures occurs but other factors. This is not to pick an argument either. Edit: 2 different types of stoppers

I'm talking from a consumer standpoint. $1.36 is fairly cheap peace of mind for those "Oh shit, I forgot these were in the back of the cabinet" moments. Hell, make it a $2 increase in price/vial and you as the seller are making a whopping 47% profit just off the stopper. I don't see your issue.

Leeching. Silicone's fine for short term use (like syringe plungers) but I'm not @PermaBlastingTren so there's no way I can use 10ml in a day.
