*assumption on my part because it seems like he keeps getting progressively more broke every year: moving to Thailand for cheapest cost of living; he used to be firmly Pharma only gear, now says UGL is just fine; increased youtube ads and posting frequency (I don't think he has any actual "clients" so that's probably his only source of income) (that's another assumption), etc

Yes, I definitely said he couldn't have done it without us, he owes us everything and I expect free gear for life from him. Come on man, stop with the exaggeration. There's always room to improve and progress, no matter how small the improvements and not matter how long you've been doing something. Also, there's always someone who knows something you don't, even if you're the world's foremost expert in something.

I think he's capable of managing his workload just fine, and that he'll interact here when it's appropriate in relation to his other responsibilities. Why you think he needs you to come in and tell him to ignore his customers and do other things with his time that you deem more valuable is just your way of not so cleverly asserting your same old tired argument that improvements/refinements/harm reduction is a pointless pursuit, and that we should all just leave the sources alone. I think many of us are just waiting for the light bulb to come on for you, and that you'll eventually come around to at least seeing some of this as something other than worthless, but I feel that at this point it's become too personal for you to ever relent
