No results on Reta

To me Reta sucks. Coming from Mounjaro I added Reta at 2mg a week then slowly tapered to 3mg, 4mg, 5mg then came off Mounjaro to try Reta solo going up to 6mg and 7mg.

Appetite: nowhere near nuked like on Mounjaro. Not even close and I actually gained 5 lbs over the 2 months on it. Got off Reta back onto Mounjaro and lost the 5 lbs. Also felt tired upon waking even after 8 hrs of sleep.

All in all I dont get how people are losing 40-60+ lbs on Reta (according to accounts on the reta subreddit)

I was using Stan’a reta then peptidepro’s reta.
I gave 2 vials to my friend also 1 stan’s and 1 peptide pro. He did 2mg, 3mg, 4mg, 5mg and 5mg and after these 5 weeks he tells me he thinks its all fake because the only difference he sees and feels is being flat. No change in appetite nor visually.

On Mounjaro the results were night and day. No appetite, feeling stuffed when barely eating.

I doubt the reta is fake.

Thats the thing with Reta, for some its easy to eat through. while others get equal appetite suppression on the level of Sema or tirz.

Thats why I stick to Sema and Tirz, having such a strong mental and physical stop whenever your eating is something I want.

I doubt its fake too but why no results for myself or my friend? For him 5 weeks on and no result except feeling flat? Doesnt seem like the miracle its being touted as. He was hoping to get a little leaner. He is 6’2 224 lbs roughly 12% bf

Was he in a deficit?
Like I said Reta is pretty easy to eat through for some. So him still eating at his maintenance caloric intake is very possible (unless of course he actually tracks his calories).

And at the dosages he was taking the glucagon agonism increase in TDEE would be quite negligible.

Have him try Tirz, I 99% think he would see results with it. It is also much cheaper.
