No results on Reta

To me Reta sucks. Coming from Mounjaro I added Reta at 2mg a week then slowly tapered to 3mg, 4mg, 5mg then came off Mounjaro to try Reta solo going up to 6mg and 7mg.

Appetite: nowhere near nuked like on Mounjaro. Not even close and I actually gained 5 lbs over the 2 months on it. Got off Reta back onto Mounjaro and lost the 5 lbs. Also felt tired upon waking even after 8 hrs of sleep.

All in all I dont get how people are losing 40-60+ lbs on Reta (according to accounts on the reta subreddit)

I was using Stan’a reta then peptidepro’s reta.
I gave 2 vials to my friend also 1 stan’s and 1 peptide pro. He did 2mg, 3mg, 4mg, 5mg and 5mg and after these 5 weeks he tells me he thinks its all fake because the only difference he sees and feels is being flat. No change in appetite nor visually.

On Mounjaro the results were night and day. No appetite, feeling stuffed when barely eating.

I’ve been on Tirzepatide for 2 months now, I have lost 35 lbs on it. Not as harsh as sema, but I’ve been loving it so far. I track all my macros through MacroFactor and it has helped allot with hitting my protein/calorie goals every day. Your diet certainly changes once you start tracking IMO.

I think some people benefit more from the Glucagcon receptor activation, in terms of calorie burn vs others. I doubt the reta is bad. You see reports from those expensive peptide clinics of some people asking to switch back to triz due to they really want the max appetite suppression.

I am discovering while the triz has more appetite suppression, for me at least the Reta seems to be letting me eat noticeably more without the terrible at times suppression while at the same time doing an amazing job of fat control. My glucose control on it is excellent as well, ever bit as good as triz, if not a tad better. The only thing I don't like is the skin sunburn effect is noticeably stronger on the reta. I have gotten used to the HR increase.

While I can't confirm, I am guessing the GLP-1 stimulation on Reta is weaker than Triz, but the GIP is much stronger and glucagon obviously. The GLP-1 seems to be the biggest of the 3 when it comes to pure suppression.
