Hi all,

Long time lurker and short time poster. Nothing too exciting, former fatty fat kid who took to the gym at 18, going from 250 lbs of lard to 170 lbs of Kpop twink.

Went up and down over the years, admittedly starting gear too early at 23 before I had a proper grasp on training and nutrition and was getting frustrated not making comparable progress to my peers.

Now several years later, including permablasting unnecessary amounts of gear including tren for mediocre gains, got my head screwed on right and cutting it way back and getting back to the basics.

Current stats are 29, 6'0", 215 lbs, eyeballing ~12% bf (4 abs are visible, bottom abs covered by loose skin and veins coming in on legs). Currently on 240 mg test, 4 IU GH, and 1.2 mg of reta (blood sugar control + maintaining insulin sensitivity), making great progress again by getting back to the basics and letting my body recover from the abuse. Slowly recomping while lifts are creeping back up and are close to my maxes when I was 245 lbs earlier this year. Focusing on base building for getting into Strongman, so I'm confident I'll beat my previous PRs at a lower weight, lower gear, and feeling great.

Welcome and good luck on your journey! Nice to see more Strongman/Strength orientated people here!

To note, knee sleeves are mandatory since lagging knee pain when squatting so it lets me train still. They've been taking their time recovering but they are improving bit by bit.

Previous maxes at 245 lb earlier this year:

Bench (w/ wrist wraps and sleeves): 315x1, 275x5
Squat (belt w/ sleeves): 425x1, 385x4, 365x6, 345x8
Deads: 545x1, 495x4, 455x5 (Beltless)
Log Press: 205x1, 185x5
Chin Up: +90x4

Recent maxes at 215 lbs:
Bench (no wraps and no sleeves): 275x2, 235x8
Squat (belt w/ sleeves): 345x7
Front Squat (sleeves, no belt): 275x7, 255x10, 305x1 (crisp single, not a max)
Deadlift (no belt): 465x3, 415x8
Log Press: 185x2, 180x3x3
Chin Up: +55x10
Pull Up: +35x9, +25x11

Yeah, haha. I've been lagging on implementing actual strongman lifts to avoid the hard shit but decided to grow a pair of balls.

Current goal is shouldering my 180# sandbag. I can get it up my chest but struggling on the last few inches. Granted, this is at the end of my workouts, so I can probably hit it fresh.

After that, I want to get to my 225# bag bt end of year. Optimistic but I'm stoked.
