Exchanges are forced by law to collect that info, sadly. Greedy Government pigs want to make sure they can tax any gains you make with crypto.

I have accounts at fidelity, e-trade, and a couple of banks. No one has ever required photos. I get 1099s in Jan/Feb. This is creepy as hell. Theres a message saying they are gathering facial recognition data. I found a source that doesn’t need crypto so I guess I’ll just hang on to the btc until I figure out how to get my money back and delete the app.

If you have a credit/debit card, you can add money directly on the app. Going to a 7/11 or rite aid is a way to use paper money to charge the app.

i know , but certain cards dont work for bitcoin online transactions
, however they usually work well at the counter, thats why i was wondering.

When you go to a 7/11 and buy the voucher do they require ID?
