Ragu, so what type of treatments have you been taking?
For the cancer right now we are keeping an eye on it..cat scan and chest x-rays.....once a month a blodo test.. i caught it extremely early... even doctors were kinda amazed......i walked in 1 day had a feeling he checked me didn;t feel anything....sent me to just get a ultra sound to make me feel better then they seen it... i had no markers in the blood either.......... beta hcg and meta panel was also fine........... but it claimed one of my test factorys...........:(

Ragu, I am glad you were able to catch it early, that is great. I am not sure if you are aware, but there are some new diagnostic tools now available that are great in combination with a CT scan. One is called a PET scan, which is incredibly accurate at picking up any tumor masses or metastisis in the body. The nuclear tech injects you with a small amount of glucose laced with a radioactive isotope, and since cancer feeds on sugar, it immediatly begins to gobble it up and it shows up clearly on the PET scan. CT scans and PET scan images can be fused together as well to provide a much more accurate picture. Ask your CT scan people and they can do it for you.

Even better though is a new machine which is a combo PET and CT scan in one machine, that integrates both technologies and is currently the most accurate cancer diagnostic machine in existence. Only problem is the Combo PET/CT scan machines are new technology and are not yet rolled out to every city. But it might be worth you checking into to keep an eye on things.

nice info.... i'm in a major city... one of the biggest in the county.. philadelphia... and i go to the biggest hospital here... jefferson....if any1 has it here it would be them............... only thing im afraid of is even more radiation.......... my doc wanted me to get a chest x and cat scan every 2 months but i fought with him for 3... hell i will beat this cancer and get some other kind ......... but that is what they want anyway isn't it......... if they could they would keep me sick till the say i died....... it's funny though.... they wanted to take out my lyphs and run chemo on me when they had no indication of the cancer being anywhere else... just as a precaution.... BUT if they found cancer later they would do the same dam thing.... why the 4#@# would i let me do that to me...... i rather take the chance..... the prevention is teh same as the treatment........... if i got cancer bad i would of went to euro anyway....

Ragu, you and I think exactly alike! I am actually seeking non destructive alternative treatments for my wife right now. High dose Chemo, radiation, and tamoxifin all have been proven to cause cancer. Yes many times it is possible that they are able to stop the current disease, however a new type of cancer is likely to appear that is "unrelated" sometimes years later. This "unrelated" cancer is a side effect from the conventional destructive treatments that most oncologist preach as a result of them having to conform to thier "standard of care". If they violate this "standard of care" they can loose thier license to practice.

We have had my wifes tumor surgically removed and have not sought any additional treatment other than getting her totally off sugar, white flour products, and starchy foods. In short all high glycemic foods which feed cancer cells. We are implementing whole organic foods and supplements and working with a Clinic that has a Naturopath Doctor as well as Medical Doctors and will be starting her on some immune boosting IV therapies. We are also going to both Chicago and Nevada to interview some Oncologists that blend alternative therapies with conventional therapies such as "low dose" chemo (using a 10th of the standard dose on avg).

I share your concerns about the XRays and CT scans. The PET scan does not use radiation so it is safe. MRI use magnetics so they are safe as well. A
little known blood test called the AMAS (Anti Malignin Antibody in Serum http://www.oncolabinc.com/) can be used to detect cancer activity in your blood. You generally will need to do it twice to get an idea of what is going on. My wife just did it and it came back normal, which is consistant with PET scan. We are still waiting on the CT scan results. However I pushed her to get the AMAS too soon after surgery. You need to wait at least 6 weeks after surgery, so I have scheduled another AMAS test in about a week. Taking the blood is more complicated than a standard blood draw as the blood must be refrigerated, then spun, then packed in dry ice and overnighted to the lab. The test is not perfect but it can be a tool to manage your cancer.

Germany seems to be the best in the world in cancer treatment right now. They integrate the conventional with the alternative and get good results using treatments such as mistletoe therapy, hyperthermia, low dose chemo, diet and nutrition, and immune boosting techniques. I have spoken to one Doc there whom has recommended that my wife start Arimidex right away(safer than tamoxifin) as her cancer is Estrogen positive. He is also recommending a Molecular level DNA test to confirm or rule out any "micro metastisis" in the blood. So we are getting more info on that. If there is micrometastisis, then he would recommend low dose chemo.

We always need the reference ranges in order to interpret labs.

Total Testosterone upper limit can range from 827 to over 1700.

From my understanding about this is low test can fuel the the cancer........ i have read a few studies that say people with low test have a higher chance of cancer........ test , dht or estrogen wont make testicular cancer worse...it's cause by bad cells in the testis which for some reason your body don't destroy... some cancers like breast cancer are fueled by higher estrogen that is why they give nolvadex (i believe) to the patients to block the receptors............ prostate cancer is said to be fueled by dht........ but some tests have shown that low test can cause it and i have read one that says estrogen could be the cause of it... u notice prostate cancer is in older men with lower lvls of test........ HGH however can help what ever cancer in your body grow... but only if there is some there.......... i'm no doctor but this is all i know from researching it......... i believe i had low test long b4 my cancer was found........... my doctor is a cancer spec... and he has no prob with me on hrt.... ok there is my book........
have you looked into I3C, DIM, and IP6?
