Muscle96ss has passed

Muscle had pm'd me a couple of weeks ago letting me know he was home and that Hospice was making his last days more comfortable. I thanked him for letting me know and asked if there was anything I could do for him.

I let @Millard know as we've known the man for the last 20 years. He and I had fun when Pac Man/Horizon came through Meso a few years back. I had fun until I was picked up on a charge in August, 2018 that was unrelated to the beating Muscles and I were giving that source......

Hello we are HGHPRO

Millard pointed out to me that Muscles was maybe having a little too much fun in the QSC thread as recently as maybe 10 days ago?

In any event. The man dedicated his life to this thing we do and while we didn't always get along we were able to say goodbye with a smile.

I hear the weights feel extra light up there Big Man! I look forward to working in with you when its my time! RIP!

Was this a symptom associated with HGH, steroids or what? Good to know, even if only a theory so can be avoided.

It doesn't matter at this point

I could care less avoid monstro, but I'm just harsh.

People on gear die from heart attacks, bad kidney, liver failure, car accidents, plane crashes, gunshots, or cancer

Just like the rest of the population. It may or may not be related

Rest in peace @muscle96ss

Sad, rip brother in iron. I had a some private interaction with him here but mostly read his posts over at ProM. Definitely one of the solid old school guys.

One of the most kind and helpful people I have ever met within this community. Across multiple boards and multiple decades, I have enjoyed interacting with and sharing with muscle96ss.

A credit to the community and all the people that they helped along the way. Thank you my brother for the guidance and help. Rest in peace, see you on the other side.

Of course it matters. Harm reduction involves using casual datapoints to try and make better decisions.

If you were genuinely "harsh" and not emotional you wouldn't be insisting on ignoring the facts and sticking to feelings.

Had a solid conversation with him before he passed and he was genereous enough to provide me with some information that would have taken me months of hard work to source myself.

I feel guilty for taking up his precious moments a few short weeks while he was on hospice.

I think you should go over at pm at ask Dante, he started the thread. If you follow him, he is a big proponent of harm reduction from way back. And since he started the thread he probably knows way more than us here.

Thanks. If it was cardiorenal syndrome, which tbh I'd never heard of before, the AAS most closely related with that is heavy Proviron use, for those interested,

Sad to say it is a price we all have to pay because of our vice. Same thing guys who smoke, drink or eat that sweet sweet custard cake everyday; there is no free ride in this world. We can only mitigate and prolong the inevitable but in the end, we have to hand our coin to the ferryman.

Be safe everyone.

CRS is just a term means that your heart, kidney, and vascular system is fucked.

All the steroids are associated with it. its not a surprise this is a cause of death. That doesn't make his situation any better. Proviron would be at the bottom of my worry list.

Its also associated with Left ventricular Hypertrophy(LVH) which we know can be caused by uncontrolled BP.

High AAS use, fluid retention, HGH, etc can put alot of strain on someone's vascular system. Elevated BP can cause severe stress on the kidneys(this is excluding renal toxic drugs one may be on)

People are encouraged to have blood work, monitor BP medication, take ACE/ARB drugs, don't blast too hard.

Could have had been caused from gear, maybe genetic, or maybe just bad luck.
Most likely it was related to gear use(look at the tip of the ice berg)

I say "it doesn't matter" because these practices have been preached on this forum and should already be in place.

Things have changed. I am assuming he has been in the game a long time and back then, they probably didn't know what we know now.

Again RIP with utmost respect to him and I feel for his loved ones

I didn't know him that well, but I could tell her cared for the community
