Monero

Yes! I think it is best to use normal VPN and then use TOR Browser. If you use ProtonVPN or NordVPNs VPNtoTOR option you lose the privacy benefits of the tor browser.

The tor browser has a lot of features in it that protects you from tracking, it spoofs a lot of data.

I agree it is best to use a vpn and then tor browser though, using tor alone feels like you're admitting to doing a crime
Ok ill have to learn how. Since tor is a browser like chrome. Is VPN a program that runs in the background of your computer? Or is it something that attaches to your ip address? Does VPN secure your computer or just the internet browser?

It will run in the background, it is not something that attached to the IP. You can install it on your router to secure the whole network but it's not really needed. It will secure the whole computer if you install it on your computer but some VPN companies offer browser extensions so you can secure just the browser (not really any need)

I have protonvpn installed on my android phone as well as my laptop. It's really easy to use. Basically can turn it on and off with one click. On my phone, when I am connected through vpn, a little key pops up in the upper corner to let you know you are using the vpn. You can check to make sure it is working by going to a site like what'smyip. You can check your device with it disconnected and then again with it turned on, and if all is working right, you will have a different ip detected.

Ok

Thanks, Cool i thought you had to pay for VPN, will make sure to check out protons VPN service.
Just some advice, never use free VPN :)

Trusted ones:
NordVPN
ExpressVPM
PrivateIntermetAccess

They have no log.policy and tested in court too.

They accept bitcoin & even gift cards as payment :)

Decrypt had an article saying Morphtoken is no longer doing bitcoin? The main article was about WHM.

Dang $50 in fees seems high unless you are a real baller. Maybe try one of those other swap sites like coinswitch, ShapeShift, or similar to trade one coin for another?
I did litecoin for monero the fee was 7$ instead of 50 for 150$. Thank goodness.

How is using a tor browser admitting to a crime.

For years I've used Tor as a live dvd disk(downloaded ISO file from distrowatch and burn to a dvd, I don't mount usb sticks with this method because I don't want anything stored without my knowledge) in a computer with the hard drive taken out running TAILS through ram. Once you turn the computer off you have nothing left behind.

TAILS is free, leaves no trace, you can use that shit on your employers computer which is something I've done in the past so I could seize control of a computer at work and surf without being tracked.

What I should have said is that it makes you suspicious. The vast majority of users aren't using TOR for legal purposes. Tails is arguably just as bad for it. That's why it is recommended that when using TOR Network you use it from a public network where it is difficult to identify the individual user.

Using TOR from a hard drive is a really bad idea, almost worthless imo.

However a dvd iso with tails stuffed in a cd case among hundreds doesn't mean anything as long as you don't mark your blank disc as TOR or TAILS.

You could even run puppy linux which is much faster as a live disc or mounted usb and remove it without a trace, an OS that comes in at 200mb loads into ram quick.

The real problem is physical possession of illegal substances. Possibly bank transactions if using an exchange to acquire crypto. Money, assets, that's what LE is really after.
