Modafinil vs Armodafinil --- what's the difference?

Hey Buds,

I tried Armodafinil @ 50mgs a day... then after 1 week, I did it twice, and then 3x@ day. Unfortunately, It didn't do anything for me except RAISE MY BLOOD PRESSURE through the roof. I was hoping to experience more acuity (as I did with Adderall), but nothing close to it happened. I tried it for 2 weeks and kept bumping the dose up to 100-150mgs and notice my BP was getting 'Really Bad' --- so bad one day, I had to stop work (programming) and just rest. --- That was the end of the experiment. I bought it under the name 'ARTVIGIL' and got excellent service from our friendly vendor. UNFORTUNATELY, the drug didn't work for me.

Upon further research, I see some people had the similar experiences with ARTVIGIL. ---- and advised to try Modafinil (M) instead. However, according to Wiki, I see M is almost the same as ARTVIGIL.

Anyone have better luck with Modafinil vs Armodafinil --- Notice anything different?

You won't find either to be the easier to access amphetamine replacement you're seeking.

Study common ADHD symptoms and you should be able to pass the assessment necessary to get a prescription for adderall. If you've been using black market adderall tabs though, be aware those are made with methamphetamine, not mixed amphetamine salts like pharma adderall, so you probobly won't respond to those very well either because of tolerance from overstimulation.

I was referred to a Shrink in my network... I showed her an old 'A' Script from my Primary Dr. (who retired), but she wouldn't Fn budge, refused to write me a Script for 'A' (the B**th). She made me take tests before every meeting (was I suicidal, did I feel like killing someone, was I planning on killing the President, etc)... then she dropped me as a patient (i'll be putting in a complaint on her ass this week). She lead me on... (told me to try T first before prescribing A). She insisted that 'Trazadone' was just as good as Adderall but 'T' gave me major insomnia, plus its an anti-psychotic (F that chit).

I heard that 'Ritalin' is easier to get than Adderall ---- I did some Ritalin in College and it helped me score high on GRE.

You don't want to dose Armodafinil multiple times per day. Once in the morning is how you use it. It lasts a long time, probably 14 hours.

Modvigil is far more stimulating than Armodafinil so if you're blood pressure went up on Armodafinil, my guess is it will be higher on Modafinil.

Like with anything else, you could get used to them and your blood pressure could stabilize. Do you take blood pressure medications?

Modafinil and Armodafinil are not miracle pills. They are more subtle. You can't compare them to stimulants like Adderall.

I'm on 10mgs Amlodapine@day for BP (works well).

Both together in the same day work well for me I take a full tab of armo, and half moda. Helps with work and focusing on tedious tasks

Like I said, you can't compare them. Everyone thinks Adderall or other ADHD stimulants are strong because of their reputation as "amphetamines" but they're generally pretty mild physically. A mild heart rate increase perhaps. It doesn't surprise me that your blood pressure was unaffected.

Armodafinil and Modvigil are like a decent cup of coffee that last a long time. They make you more awake and give some stimulation but I wouldn't exactly think of them as cognitive enhancers.

Yes,... BOTH these drugs are promoted as 'Adderall substitutes' on numerous forums (not just here). I think I will attempt to get some Ritalin next. I'm reading, its not as addictive and works just as well. --- Thanks!

I start each day with Tesofensine 500mcg + Armodafinil 250mg. About 30 minutes prior, I take a Rolaids to alkalize stomach acids. It's about a 30% increase in effect (for me) on a neutral-pH stomach versus acid.

There are days--like the day before an exam--when I also take Adderall 30mg, instant release, for extra support. But I can't find Addy these days. The rapidfinil.se site was my last buy, and yeah, probably meth, but it feels the same as the legit Addy script I got from a girlfriend. (She literally gave it to me...doesn't "feel" right for her)

Sometimes I will use Modafinil 200mg instead of Addy. It's easier to source and I have tons of it. But...there's no comparison to the Teso + Armo + Addy stack. I've never felt more superhuman and productive than that triple-stack.
