Milk, for or against?

Out of curiosity, do you use a "face cleaner/ face wash" product? And do you experience an oily face?
My face can be a bit oily. However my acne is mostly on my back and shoulders. Just finished a run of research chem accutane. It did a pretty good job but i may want to run it again pharma. Prob go through pharmacist.

Their useless. I've used everything. EVERYTHING
dial soap the yellow bar is hands down the best. Just what the doctor ordered

Someone gets it. For anyone that reads this struggling with acne. STOP WASHING YOUR FACE.

Wow, seems counterintuitive does it not.

Nope. All those products that are "cleaners, scrubbers, washers, fuckers" etc only dry out the natural oil production on your face. So yeah, they get rid of oil for 10 minutes but bam, the oil comes back. This is because your body thinks "OMG someone keeps on taking all the oil of my face! Now i have to double or triple my oil production to counter act what this assholes doing."

Once you stop washing your face, just letting water touch it, it will take a month or two for your natural levels to return to normal and fuck me gently your acne will disappear.

Also, even using plain ol soap aint the best.

See my above post cause it cant hurt. But if its on your back and shoulders is most likely hormonal. So yeah accutane would be good.

Good luck. No one likes acne.

I struggled with it all through the teen years. This is what eventually worked. All that oxy/neutrogena shit just made it worse. Frustrating as hell when you realise you caused the problem buying into marketing hype.

Unfortunately, doesn't seem to be working for this latest round of backne. But goddamned soap seems to be making it worse. May go back to leaving it alone for a while and see what it does, next step something really mild, then Accutane. Dawn ab soap showed some improvement, but only on the first shower of the day. If I use it twice, I break out like crazy. Definitely dries it out too much.

Thinking about trying one of those hippy type all natural "cleansers". Might be more gentle. But the antibacterial aspect seemed to help marginally, so just not sure. Maybe an antibiotic course before Accutane.

Yea fuck acne. I'm in all out war! Will be starting a test tren blast next week and I'm def going back on pharma accutane. Nothing else works like it. My liver will forgive me eventually.

If you could do an antibiotic course, you wont regret it. I once had a nasty boil. The kind that lives under the surface and NEVER comes to a head. Damn thing. Anyways, antibiots kicked its ass in about a week.

In your case you may need to take the antibiots for a longer period due to it being over a larger area.

Yup. I can think back to some very, very embarrassing times when i got the odd cyst or some shit and i had to deal with people. But im alpha as fuck so i made acne my bitch.

The benefits of consuming milk post-workout have been researched and documented.

See "Dietary protein to support anabolism with resistance exercise in young men"
J Am Coll Nutr. 2005 Apr;24(2):134S-139S.
By Phillips SM, Hartman JW, Wilkinson SB.

Here's an excerpt from the abstract: "...we observed a tendency...for greater gains in whole body lean mass and whole as greater muscle fiber hypertrophy with consumption of milk." (This particular study looked at milk protein vs soy protein post-workout.)

Have the hormone injected cows been documented and researched too? How about the vitamin D injections into the utters of dairy cows? Has that been researched and documented as well?

Got milk? ;)

If you get a moment, watch this documentary. Its actually well researched and contains just the facts. Milk is actually one of the worst "foods" for you. Its responsible for so many intestinal health issues and a host of others that will surprise you. And bare in mind we are the only animal on earth that drinks milk from another animal.

The Dairy Association is almost as powerful as some of the pharmaceutical giants, dont be fooled.

Not so.....Plenty of animals have nursed orphaned animals from other species. Even in the wild.

Please...enough with that bullshit. Do you really believe it's possible, at all, to eat "healthy". Seafood...wild caught = mercury, farm raised = chemicals. Livestock...steroids, antibiotics, grain fed, grass fed, vitamin enhanced, free range, cage free. whats in our milk, cheese, eggs. Vegetables...it can be organic and still be GMO. It can be non GMO and not be organic. Can you really say that you can monitor completely everything you put in your body?
Chemicals in the air...can't dodge that. Drugs and chemicals in our water...so drink bottled water. Wait...the plastic is carcinogenic. Cancer causing foam in our furniture cushions and the flame retardants on the fabric. Invisible waves traveling through our bodies from wireless signal bluetooth and cellphones and satalites disrupting our bioelectric signals in our bodies. All these poisons and yet the life expectancy of humans increases decade after decade. You think I'm worried about the cow udders my milk comes out of. Get off your soap box and go drink your almond milk and let me drink my cow juice in peace.
Got Milk? God Damn right I do...gallons and gallons and I love every fuckin drop.;)
Now I'm gonna go suck on my cow titties thank you very much.

Personally I make my shake with two cups of milk, a scoop of whey isolate, and about 2 tablespoons of honey for insulin.

No i dont, Mel. In fact, i agree with you. Its incredibly difficult to avoid everything that's unhealthy for you if you choose to live on this planet - regardless of how "off the grid" you become.

However, we can choose our battles. And one of mine is dairy products. The information available widely supports the idea that dairy is responsible for many illnesses that can be easily avoided. Another is animal protein. Although im not willing to give up eggs or fish, i do on the other hand restrict my animal protein to a dull roar nowadays. My choice is to include more whole foods that also include a more plant based diet. I feel this is a healthier choice and provides the vitamins, nutrients, and macros that i require daily with the least intrusive and unhealthy additives and GMO's in my diet.

Again, this is my choice and i wanted to share it and perhaps give pause to the dairy idea and shed light on those who are lactose intolerant. There's a biological reason why infants stop producing the enzyme that breaks down whey after they reach a certain age. But you can debate that if you choose, i generally dont argue with biology. :)

p.s careful crossing the road...you might get run over. :D:p

I love a good debate. I agree with you in that we have to choose our battles. Good Lord there are so many to choose from. How does one decide. I focus on the ones that, to me, seem like the worst. To me, milk doesn't seem like one of them but that's me. I respect your decision to be non dairy. Hell I respect anyone's decision to be non anything as long as they aren't condemning me for not joining them because I've got my own priorities. If we quit partaking in everything that we suspected was bad for us or that had documentation stating it was we would just sit in an empty room and play with our toes. There are studies that say that such and such is bad and then there's documentation that says, yes but the good it does far outweighs the bad. What do we do. It would be a full time job researching everything. I've decided which battles seem like the ones most worth giving my attention and the rest...chips fall where they may. I seriously don't think that I will die from dairy. There are way to many worse things out there like...I don't know...spit, you'll hit something, lol.
Like you said, probably the guy driving the car behind, beside, in front of you that's texting...yikes!!!
Now that's a REAL health hazard.

Oh also @Northern Nutrition .
I can't debate you on the child enzyme info. I know nothing of that but I find that interesting and will give that a read. What's weird in my situation is that I was told by my Grandmother that when I was a baby up until about the age of three I was intolerant to milk and the soy alternative at the time also had a bad effect on me. I had to have formula, I believe she said, was banana based. I may be wrong. It's been a while since she told me this but I think I'm remembering this correctly. Anyway. at about age three I outgrew the milk intolerance and once I could have dairy she said I went milk crazy. I've been a gallon a day milk drinker, give or take, ever since.

Yes that's very peculiar. The explanation to the enzyme (lactose intolerant folks) is simple evolution influenced by our diets. If you research the number of LI people many years ago you'll discover that figures are much lower than today. People who are LI are "normal". You'd be surprised how many folks there are who believe the people who are LI are the ones who have health issues..lol.
