Let's cut to it. Although you may not believe it or opted out of reading, maybe even forgot, I noted i read the stats of two fairly popular forums. And that drama drives traffic. Aas info is steady we don't get earth shattering news everyday. What brings people to repeatedly view a forum several time a day is the locker room behavior. Ass, humor, shock, awe and arguements move post which causes views and subsequently flashing of sponsor/advertisers banners. The forum need to rotate. It will not rotate on aas info profiles and training methods alone. You will come by and hit new posts... nothing new. Come by tomorrow nothing new.... and your interest is gone.

You want a place with out the high school behaviors ... there are plenty, they take a reference from one of THEIR own. You have an open forum where the only requirement is an email address. You can't control what you get... other Then to moderate and boot the people that do not fit your protocol. There HAS been lots of those forums too. I can assure you that these forums dont have the advertisers interest. And if you don't have a advertisers interest you don't succeed as a forum owner.

So Paul as your thread title inquires...why is meso so slow... in my words why is it not growing? because your going to loose members everyday.
You need new members everyday...ones that feel somewhat invited. Ones that just came from the world's slowest boring private board. Creating a board with traffic will not be... a place with a three page rules list... a place that is over moderate... A place that's dominated by one source... will not be a place where new members are kept at arms length because they are new.

It will be a place that's fun, free of restrictions, a solid place for info and sources and a place of comrodery. A place where growth (new members) are fostered. Not talked down too.
I can handle it.... I'm a big fella. Many can't.

Do you think Millard should ban everyone who doesn't play nice? If so, do you think millard has enough time to police every thread and ban the rule breakers? Would it require more than one person? Maybe multiple mods? Who would you trust to be mod? Do the members even want a mod? Do the members want Millard to play babysitter?

When you see the young girl get berated at McDonalds by a customer bc someone put pickles on his/her burger do you stand up for them too? What about when a cop falsely arrests someone? Do you stand up to the cop or just let them do their job? If you're so happy at using the free speech allowed you here why do you want to take it away?

I noticed one and it's glaring and repetitive: you using a red herring. Docd and Millard have asked you to provide a plan that will achieve your goal of improving the forum and making it less combative and more respectful, and you've deflected every single time. In fact, that's what you've always done when you start one of these bi-monthly threads.

It's easy to criticize, Paul, but anyone can do that - even a child. It's a lot harder to back up your criticism with constructive ideas and suggestions. Perhaps you should give some thought to how you would improve Meso when you start this thread again next month.

@Big_paul, I have to respectfully disagree with you. This forum being unmoderated is why we all come here. I was a part of many other forums before Meso and I cant count how many times I either had comments deleted or was banned because I went against the boards mindframe or "sponsors".

Yes people do get rude and dig into new members here for asking dumb stuff like can I get a source on their 1st post. Or when someone asks a question and gets mad at the answer. But who wants these members here anyways?

The key is quality, not quantity. And I think Meso is still getting good new members.

If we have any form of moderation here it opens it up to more and more. Then we will be evo and Millard will start taking and selling SARMS. And no one wants that.

Realistically Meso is self policing. Its up to the established members to keep it going. I bet if you speak up when a member is being "mistreated" people will listen (unless the member is Slaton, then fuck him).

Meso seems to a board that self censors, as in the members here will put a poster on blast pretty quick.
If we called out a member for being a dick as quickly as we call them out for being a schill, we'd have a friendlier board.

@Burrr I agree with you. Ive on this board maybe 6 months and have been accused of being a schill at least 3 times haha. I never post on the underground board anymore because its as if some the wkm's are only on the board to be dicks and get off on calling a stranger a schill which is nonsense and doesnt work because obviously UGLS are making a killing here. I have noticed a big trend of first time posters starting off with "first time poster-hesitant to post because of blah blah blah" When you go to other boards the same sources have open feedback with members and it really works nicely. I think what sets MESO apart and why I only use this board is because of how harsh they actually are on UGLS. Quiet a conundrum
