No it’s not … Tren has always been a dark color.
Raw colors are changing and Samp is trying to figure out why.
Again readalot was starting Tren and all of a sudden wanted to run all sorts of test on Tren. Pull the fucking wool from over your eyes.
Before the Tren one Readalot was always a Pharma guy … he was gonna start running UGL gear for the first time. He went after aol sources to test metals, endotoxins etc … Readalot started running UGL later …

What’s the issue with him pursuing and encouraging testing that he himself would benefit from?? It’s not as if the community isn’t also benefiting.
It’s painfully obvious that some people, for whatever reason, dislike the dude and it’s clearly skewing their perspective.

I know there is bad blood between some in here, but I don’t think it’s out of line to cast a vote regardless of contribution. Its a community fund for testing and all reasonable opinions should be heard.

This is a bit different then the TREN thing, because not only the raws aspect are different and the color, the brewed oil have a yellow tint as well. It could be NOTHING and maybe it is nothing but I'm just curious to see if it will show any different peaks etc.
It's raws so it should have less contaminants then an oil that has a lot more peaks due to solvents, carrier oil etc.
Plus we have a test C samples that comes from the "old good times" when raws were flowing and we had great quality left and right.
No one is benefitting personally from this, as I have already tested my raws and sera too and GCMS doesn't really benefit the individual but most likely the whole community if we find out something. If we don't find anything it's a success as well, because we can all have peace of mind, from the brewer to the ppl buying finished oil knowing that maybe maybe there isn't a new fuckery going on with the raw product.

If MRPs are that easy to create with minimal temperature increases over a fixed amount of time, maybe they're created in raws over time during degradation as well, and the colored raws you guys have are just older than advertised.

So just to recap it will be:
4 GCMS total
2x Test C samples
1x TNE sample
1x NPP sample
680$ total.
Not bad and could be interesting
I have not received my TNE raws.
I'll probably receive it in Nov or something at this rate it's going.
I recently received a batch of Test D raws from a different source that both looks and smells as expected with a 99.4% purity, so this color issue might be isolated to a factory this vendor is sourcing from.
I am willing to contribute to this testing tho, (and cancel my TNE order if something weird is found lol).
There are 4 raws set to be analysed?
TC (Sampei + Sera)
TNE (Sampei)
NPP (Nobody yet?)
I believe @B Ware has sent in his NPP sample which will arrive this week, if we need a sample we could request that he add in an order?

Best way to describe it is the older batch is like baking flour while the new batch is almond flour. Neither smell the same and aren’t smells I can really describe other than the older batch has a slight chemical smell while the newer aasraw has a strong chemical smell.
For transparency the older batch tested at 95% purity. I will have results on the new batch next week.

For the funds I contributed, I vote yes for the proposed test. The Tren test was a curiosity for me, but I’m actually using this stuff.
Agreed. I guess that’s the part about the Tren test criticism that’s irritated me, but sorry for derailing the current discussion. I also hate to see @readalot go 100% MIA after getting this fund started even if he’s getting poor reception in other threads. I get that it can be spammy and there’s probably a better way to be more diplomatic about it in vendor threads.

Another option would be to not abandon the tren project at the "inconclusive" stage
The result generated a hypothesis - plastic is leeching from the bottle top filter - so the next step would be to test that
One way to do it would be to test a batch that's unfiltered; might have more crap in it but specifically not the benzenemethy compound
Or if there's a completely different way of filtering it where the oil wouldn't come into contact with anything like the bottle top filter material

No the projects are not related to one another.
I was already saying it before the Tren project started.
Independent projects, Im not even sure what people are lumping them together.
I just don't use much vendor bought gear and it did not make sense for me to do the legwork for it...
Just see the amount of crap @readalot gets each time he tries to improves something.

I think people get the Tren color and plastic leaching mixed up since they were both tren and readalot’s cross linking gets hard to follow. Eventually I have no idea what thread I’m in or what I’m supposed to be reading about. Heat made a small difference in color and no difference in GCMS. I thought there was going to be an already dark Tren sent also for comparison. IIRC, primal had a dark batch and a light batch on presumably the same raws. I’m still curious what causes the color variation. It might be like the GH thing though where even if we had access to NMR, would anyone know how to interpret it? For the plastic leeching, maybe someone brews a low concentration and high concentration for comparison. If the result is even replicable and not just a one off “suspected,” “tentatively ID’d,” or whatever.

I don't have any skin in the game, just wanted to double check that people realized this project was being abandoned despite resulting in a testable hypothesis (plastic leeching from the bottle top filter, "suspected")
I mean, the next part of the process would be testing what is suspected
If the donors vote to just keep starting new projects without finishing them, that's fine just as long as they know that is what's happening to their money

At no point were donor funds used for the plastic testing.
I am both out on funds, time and vials of AAS for the testing for plastic that was done.
The tren project does not have anything to do with bottle-tops.
Nothing in the tren project leads to a hypothesis that bottletops were leeching into oil. No bottletops were used in that project.
Just wanted to make it clear before people said i was using donor funds.
