Pretty wild we traded a high profile arms dealer that was actively selling anti aircraft missiles to Columbian terrorists, to be used against US dea agents for a WNBA player, who was dumb enough to bring hashish into Russia. I'm blown away they made that trade. Seems reckless.

It’s because of all the liberal fucktards crying, Putin coulda asked for a free pass to nuke Ukraine and eventually the us woulda given in just to ensure votes next election, the world is simple .. fuck around and find out.. except now ppl just wana fuck around and they cry about fairness when they find out

The world is fucked, democracy is broken, the free world is anything but and we’re all going to watch our children & grand children grow up in this knowing that we let it happen, but atleast brittney is free so yay

I dare say, if she was straight and white, it would be a completely different scenario.

Seemingly by today's standards, anyway.

Personally I have nothing against anyone in regards to my description... I'm just making what I feel is a logical point, according to what gets shoved in our faces multiple times daily.

It's hard to feel sorry for someone who does something so incredibly stupid.
But she litterally played for the russian team for 5 years. And has been doing this exact thing for 5 years no problem. She played for them every summer. I believe

Yet i hear what your saying they got a litteral terrorist. But she was harmless civilian.

Anytime there is a civilian vs armed trainy, they go for the civilan. At least to no my knowledge. And she was a public figure too, extremely.

Just the level of knowledge and action a terrorist of war can take which they got, is kill even more civilians, so it is kind of a hard case to make.

I am confused as to what your position is, and as to what your point is.

I think that it's hilarious that Paul Whelan keeps getting called a Marine. The dude was given a bad conduct discharge; he was kicked the fuck out for trying to steal >$10,000 from the gov't. (Apparently he hid that little fact from his family, which is... Not surprising.) Supposedly he was caught with a flash drive full of top secret stuff, and his defense was, "that's not mine, I was just holding it for a friend". That never works when you get pulled over and the cops smell pot in your car--and he used to be a cop!--so I'm surprised that's the defense he went with.

The US doesn't usually try super-hard to get captured spies out of foreign hands, compared to regular civilians. It would make sense that, if Whelan was actually a CIA asset, that they'd prioritize Griner over him, esp. since his value would already be blown by getting caught.

I dunno, it could go either way, but I'd guess that it's slightly better than even odds that he is actually a spy.
