Looking for some sauces to spice up my meals

Hello all,

I eat rice/chicken and rice/tilapia/salmon on a daily basis and I was looking for some good sauces to help me out with a decent macro profile. I went through ketchup, no sugar bbq sauce, sriracha, mustard, and am running out of ideas.

Was wondering if anyone could help me out and share their favorite sauces?

Much appreciated.

That really depends on what flavours you like bro.
I don't buy many ready-made sauces that often coz of the salt/sugar/additives etc but I make a lot of my own rubs and marinades for fresh meat/fish/veg.

Herbs and spices is the way forward ;)

Frank's red hot.zero carbs/calories.
Lawreys Hawaiian sauce.
G hughes sugar free mango habenero.
Any Caribbean jerk sauce.
G hughes teriyaki.

If you have room in your Macros for the sugar and carbs. Rubbing some organic honey on your grilled salmon after it's cooked taste pretty good

Flavor gang sauces are good

A little Montreal steak seasoning adds a hell of a flavor. Never tried on anything but steak, but i think it would go great with most meats.

This steak seasoning from Walmart is the best and I've tried a lot of seasonings. Everything this brand makes his very good.

Great suggestions in here already.

I love sriracha, cholula, franks, Texas Pete etc.

I’ll throw another vote in for G Hughes line of sauces. They have a good Thai chili variation and an orange ginger type flavor that pair well with sriracha specifically.

I like to marinate meat in garlic, onions and a little greens (dill, parsley, cilantro) - fresh (can be dry) and a little olive oil. It immediately becomes divine.

It's not often that dill gets used with meat coz it tends to work better with fish and veg. Some coarse black pepper, sea salt, and fresh thyme works well with beef and sage compliments pork really well. Chicken is really versatile and can handle big punchy flavours like tarragon, coriander, lemon, garlic etc.

If I'm buying good quality cuts of meat I like to actually taste the meat and not just the marinade.

Home - Spice It Up has great spices. They are a local shop/small business I have visited several times while travelling. Really awesome people, great products. I usually get about $100 worth of spice mixes, some tea, and a vinegar or two from them once, maybe twice a year. Only thing is I wish they olive oils were extra virgin, but it's fine I just stick to the other stuff.

You're right, I'm just a big fan of greenery and shove it everywhere. But from time to time I cook meat just salt and that's it. Feel the taste of meat.
