I see your point. If it were up to me I'd have it so those in the UK with their own private health insurance (such as myself) had it partially subsidised by the government since we're still paying taxes towards the NHS, yet not putting a financial strain on it.

Have you had much personal experience with your healthcare system? If so, what is your take on it? Good, bad, whatever. I am talking about doctor visits, procedures, etc.
