Leucine on cycle

Did anybody used leucine on cycle because my buddy swears in it it.
He is using in every pre meal 5 gr.
Did anybody used it while on cycle

I hear a lot of hype about Leucine and HMB, a metabolite of Leucine. In my opinion, if you are hitting your protein goal for the day I think you are fine. Obviously, protein contains the amino acid leucine along with all other amino acids.
