I had photos of him at various times i think i even snapped some when he reappeared for that one day. Sadly all that craps on my desktop computer which is back in my home country and im out of the country for several years now so no access to it.
I think i ran him on the dbol for about 3 weeks. I dont recall if i stopped or he had disappeared mid cycle. Wouldve been better if i couldve popped a finaplix pellet in him though, king of the forest.
Someone told me the bucks instinctively leave their birth territory as natures way of avoiding inbreeding with their sisters, which is why i suspect he suddenly disappeared as i guess he was sexually matured by that point and instinct told him to move on. Even with me feeding him like a half dozen apples a day he still up and left one day, so the instinct must be pretty strong as i kept him well fed.
I even brought him inside the house a few times although he never seemed at ease when i did. Also took him for walks through the forest as hed follow me around if i called him. Unlike the other deers whod eat only the apples he would eat anything i gave him. Bananas, bell peppers, carrots, tomatoes, and even a big slice of pecan pie once.
Its pretty awesome taming a wild animal, its a different feeling than a traditional pet as you have to genuinely earn their friendship and trust, as they have the choice to not associate with you.
I also tamed a raccoon, and a harbor seal who i spent 2 summers swimming for hours everyday with, playing hide and seek, rubbing his belly, synchronized swimming, i tried many times to teach him fetch too but he never caught on to the rules of the game unfortunately.
