well, i feel like shit all the time, have for the last 2yrs (read my sob story, hehe .....
https://thinksteroids.com/community/threads/11485 ), lost muscle, strength, blah, so yea, it sucks.
i was studying how the labs do values here, and it's very odd. Everywhere I look test. measurements seem to be ng/dl or nmol/L....however here they use mmol/L.
They say that their range for 'normal' is 7 to 28 mmol/L....how the hell do you convert that into ng/dl, lol
(yes, mmol/L, not nmol/L)
Hey dude, are you from AUS? The actual normal reference range is 11-34nmo1/l and the test should be taken in the morning as that is when your test levels are at their highest.
I also have no idea on the conversion, but like yourself, after my testicular cancer, I was in the somewhat low but normal range. several months later my testosterone kept dropping, leaving me with a reading of 8.3 nmo1/l in the mornings.
You're going the right way about it by seeing an endocrinologist. If he/she thinks there is a concern with your normal test levels, don't jump the gun and get straight onto HRT. It's always good to get second and third opinions when dealing with matters as serious as this. Hell, I'm on the shit now for the rest of my life, and i'd rather not be.
For example, my first doctor (local GP) told me my testosterone levels were fine and I had nothing to worry about. I told him I wasn't satisfied with his judgement and was then referred to an endocrinologist. It was then where I noticed my test levels were actually 5 nmo1/l's lower than what my original doctor had stated.
In many cases, your endocrinologist might give you 4 injections of either enanthate/sustanon spread over 2 months (1 per fortnight) They will then leave you off it and continue taking bloods to see if your levels will then stabilise. Sort of like jump starting a car.
Worst case scenario, you need HRT for the rest of your life, I reccommend you stay as far away from injectibles as possible. Sure, if you're going to make a few cycles out of your misfortune and feel the need to bulk up, by all means, go for it!
But personally speaking, I'd reccommend Androgel. Easier to take with steadier levels, IMO.
All the best, let us know how it pans out.
