L-Citrulline

Does anyone take this supplement? If you do lets hear your opinion. Ive heard it gets you pretty damn pumped up, a fuller look and also gives some pretty bad ass erections. This is what I got off the net.

L-Citrulline functions in the body by being converted to http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/arginine.html and then into http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/no2.html. This nitric oxide is then going to be involved with vasodilation. This vasodilation is what helps increase the amount of blood and oxygen that is delivered to the working muscles, helping to prevent both mental and physical fatigue.

Many people are currently taking nitric oxide products in order to help achieve these types of effects, but if you aren't taking one of these, you can get good results from just supplementing with L-Citrulline as well.
 
I've used it before I actually still have some from its Bulk Supps.
It was given to me by a friend who got this by mistake on a creatine order.

I tried it once before going to my GFs house and man the wood I got from it.
Never really noticed a pump while working out maybe because I only used it for 2 weeks. But it did help with erections.

Thats a good sign, if it helped with your erections its doing its job. Glad to see another review. Ill get some soon. Plan on taking it right before the,gym so hope I dont salute anyone.
 
One idea is to take Citrulline with Arginine so that you end up with a more stable, longer lasting NO level.

Been there, done that, got the T-shirt! This combination does improve the quality of my erections more than Arginine alone.

I haven't tried Agmatine...yet.
 
I got some citrulline malate a few days ago. Didnt notice anything the first couple of days, but today I had a pretty good pump and alot more energy than normal. Was able to sprint and do hiit without feeling like dying and was able to bench heavy with energy left over. See if tomorrow is the same.
 
How much are you (and others) taking?


Btw, you all might want to check you blood pressure while you're on it.

It's a vasodilator, so BP should come down...

Nice, I wasnt aware of that since I generally have elevated bp and have to keep it in check. I doubled the dose the past three days but will take one serving tomorrow. One serving is 5 grams, its sour as hell. I havent noticed anything as far ae quality of erections go, everything is still the same in that department.
 
Five grams and nothing?? What brand? If I took five grams I would be able to punch holes in sheet rock with my dick. This is why supplement manufacturers cant be trusted.

Get citrulline from a reliable source like GNC or Thorne (it will be expensive!) and try 2 grams.

I forget the name of the brand, Ill post a pic when I get home, it was only 20 bucks.

If you are using citrulline malate you have to use 1.82 times as much as you would with just citrulline. The attached malate makes it not equivalent by weight to pure citrulline). 3-5 grams of Citrulline seems to be the generally agreed upon dosage for increase NO, so if you want that from citrulline malate have to go with round 6-10 grams. Agmatine is interesting but they studies showing improved NO the agmatine wasn't ingested, they were administered thru IV so they aren't certain what results come from oral administration though hopefully someone will begin to do more research on that. There is some evidence of Agmatine being a potentiater for a lot of drugs which I thought was interesting as well.

That is very interesting and thanks for the feedback. I didnt know the difference between l citrulline and citrulline malate until I purchased it. I sti need to do alot of research, like if it affects the ph of the body. Im also very interested in it being able to pontentiate. I do have to say its the first supplement IVe taken in awhile where I can notice a dramatic difference.
