Jardiance x Bodybuilding

What are the benefits of Jardiance for steroid users?
Jardiance will help keep blood glucose under control and helps cardiovascular health quite a lot. Example I take care of an elderly friend with stage 2 CHF and without getting into too many details I can tell you his cardio had him splitting the 25mg tabs in half and at that dose (let's guess around 12mgs a day) his blood sugar would range around 150-160 during the day and be 150 fasted. I adjusted the dose to the full 25mg each morning (yes his cardio gave the ok) and his fasted dropped immediately to 112-115 and during the day ranges in the 130's. This may not sound like much but it is significant and his fasted is still coming down a couple points each day. I think it's a remarkable drug.

But, is it useful for us? Not really unless you have heart failure or type2 diabetes. Jardiance lowers blood sugar but does not affect insulin sensitivity (insofar as I know, or at least not directly) and there are probably better medications to use to lower blood pressure (though I would opine controlling sodium and fluid intake and the occasional lasix tab is probably best.)

For our purposes I still recommend r-ala and berberine. Metformin works indirectly much like jardiance (suppressed hepatic sugar production) and also carries some risk of causing anemia through b vitamin depletion.

All in all r-ala and berberine are must haves, the heart failure and diabetes medications I find inaccurate for bodybuilding/physique hacking.

You pee out excess glucose to the tune of 150-300 calories per day. Shown to be cardioprotective and nephroprotective in studied populations (CHF, Diabetes, CKD; unsure if benefit carries over outside of those populations). Since you’re peeing out glucose, it also acts as a weak osmotic diuretic, which might be a good thing if you’re bloated. I take it for the extra calories that are peed out, nothing else.

6.25 mg Jardiance (I break them up) lowered my BP by some points, decreased bloating, and my skin got better. 6.25 mg is enough that the urine stick test positive for glucose.
As far, I could see no impact on my fasting blood sugar, since it was already without Jardiance at 70 mg / dL. HbA1c is paradoxically at 5.1% and was lowered only by 0.1% by jardiance, I avoid sweets and take acarbose before high carb meals and do intermittent fasting.
My HbA1c should be under 5%, but I guess it's because my red blood cells have a longer half life and thus are subject to more glycation.

I'm since 3 weeks on reta, I stopped jardiance for fear of ketoacidosis.
