isopropyl alcohol?

Today I was transferring half of my prop/suspension into a new vile. I cleaned out the vile w/ regular rubbing alcohol and turned it upside down to dry for 1 or 2 minutes. I transferred the gear, and it seemed to be a little hazy, or cloudy looking. I don't know if this is b/c of the isopropyl alcohol? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou

Dude!!

Juice,

I work with a pharmacy and you should NEVER prepare your own sterile products in the manner you are describing. I dont want to freak you out as the only problem may be an infection at the injection site, but it can be worse.

You should only use sterile products in a sterile environment. If the vial was not sterile already dont try and sterilize it yourself.

We also make test, and the cloudy material may be bactria and it may be a reaction to some of the stabilizers. Is it compounded? or was it manufactured? (who made it?)

just curious, why were you transferring it?

Stupid assumption on my part.. prop/suspension is testosterone proprionate? I am still learning the lingo and may have misunderstood.

If you turned the open end of the vial down when drying, you may have had some residual alcohol left in the vial. When drying, keep the vial rightside up and let the residual alcohol volatilize until no more liquid is present. This should happen fairly quickly, assuming it's a few ml of alcohol. Never used prop/susp so I don't know about the appearance. I'll let other bros post on that. Peace.

the haziness was probably from the isopropyl, always let the vial dry when doing this....

.............

The gear is made by IP. I was transferring it b/c I was selling some to a friend. Actually, just now I transferred some more into another vile, also cleaned w/ the alcohol, and the gear looks identical in both viles. What I DID do different was I let the vile air dry b4 I transferred it. My new problem is:

The FIRST vile that has too much alcohol in it, I mixed it with the original vile to see if it would blend together, or something along the lines of that. The funny thing is that when I transferred the gear into the vile AGAIN it still looked the same as it did b4 (blurry, hazy), while the original vile w/ the gear looked normal, as it did b4. So, do you good bro's think I fucked up the gear in the original vile mixing the it w/ the gear/isopropryl? NOTE: the gear w/ isopropryl was only 15ml, while the original gear w/o contaminations was about 90ml's. Any help/opinions greatly appreciated.

fricked up??

Juice,

you wont know until you use it and see if an infection occurs. The only problem with sterile products is that you bypass the bodies natural filters, ie skin, digestive tract, lungs.
If your product is contaminated with alcohol, there wont be a big prob. If you have a true contaminate in it there could be an infection.

Do people who use these products do this often??.. if so I know a good source of sterile vials.. it may cost a few bucks, but it may save someone a trip to the doctor.

I just checked with the pharmacist in charge and he said that the alcohol will not make less effective the test. We actually use benzyl as a preservative. If there is any Isopropyl left in the vial it may burn like the dickens he said.

On accident only I purchased regular viles, I thought I purchased the sterile ones but I was in a hurry and this is the consiquence I get. I put them in the viles originally w/o sterilizing them in any way. I DID bake them thoroughly to help sterilise it if bacteria were present, and I have been using it for 1 week w/o any infection. So you think the 90cc's of prop/suspension is still good? thx bro
peace

you wont know if its ok till you inject, but by then it may be too late. Remember that with cloudy gear, contamination is highly likely. You can't be 100% sure so I would not take the risk bro. Next time get sterile vials.

not an expert at some of this..

Based ONLY on what you have relayed here, yes the prop will probably be efficacious.

But dont dally on using it. If there is bacteria, it will grow over time. and the longer it sits the higher the risk of infection.

This is a good thread. I am surprised there have been so few posters.

Wish I could help more...

Email me if you ever have this type of question.

Bro I've used IPA to clean out several containers to put gear in and never had the first problem. I would think IPA would evaporate rather quickly.

If that's the only thing that could have happened, getting a little alcohol mixed in with it shouldn't be a problem. Of course if you had say a ml of it in there I wouldn't inject it.

for the price of sterile vials it seems odd that you are even doing this do a little research and you will find out they practically give them away
