Is Meso Losing Its Edge?

I dont know.. I see a lot of kiddies get their posts deleted. I know because I usually make fun of them in my passive aggressive way, and soon my post disappeared because the idiotic thread got removed. So it seems to me they are indeed moderating.

In my limited experience with social media, when a platform gains popularity, it becomes harder to manage and you start having to become more strict to maintain control. This may not be what mods or the owner "want" but rather they have no choice because of logistical issues.

I think what im saying is this might just be growing pains. Its not an excuse per say, and it is unfortunate but also inevitable. Perhaps this is what we are seeing? The huge influx of xxxmaxers and crypto druggies is leading to a time/work imbalance for Meso and they find themselves needing to crack eggs?

Well could be related to MESO "VETS" ageing and becoming angry and irritable old men...needing something to bich about.

I was alluding to that in my post

Felt like trolling today.

This here is a prime example of what your knowledgeable members are dealing with meanwhile the guy (Laurcv) still banter's on without regard. I will preface with, my conduct was not exactly cordial, but it also stems from mass frustration. I think you'll see the difference is, I own my behavior and ultimately apologized to the community.

Anybody reading this would have reasonably assumed he was asking a question. When given answers he immediately reverted to arguments. Why? I have no idea, but he's still here. And furthermore he immediately jumped to disrespectful name calling. So is it selective "punishments"? He is merely one example I can dig up plenty more, there readily available, but it falls on deaf ears.

This is exactly the behavior that wears knowledgeable members out.

He opened with what reads like a genuine question about diluents (sterile water vs saline vs bacteriostatic) and multi-dose use.

People answered in practical terms (DIY bac water / bacteriostatic saline / multi-dose considerations). Instead of clarifying calmly, he immediately escalated to insults (“are you dyslexic?”, “dipshit”, “gremlins”, etc.) and then argued semantics while moving the goalposts.

He asks for input, then turns every response into an argument and name calling, that’s not “discussion”, it’s thread pollution. This is one of the reasons the signal to noise ratio keeps dropping.

This is why vets stop answering. He asked a question, got answers, then flipped into disrespect and endless arguing. If you’re going to call people “dyslexic” and “dipshit” because you don’t like the direction of replies, don’t ask the question in the first place.

From the outside, this reads like a classic bad faith pattern...Ask a question that invites broad interpretation (“consensus on water for HGH + how about reta over 2+ weeks?”)
Reject answers that don’t match the exact framing in your head, escalate to personal insults, drag the thread for pages.

Agree or disagree with the science, the behavior is the problem. Many members can provide so many examples of this it's ridiculous, but the knowledgeable members are the ones taking heat.

Everything you posted in this thread to refute is jumbled up BS. Excuses.

Haha yeah I remember this drongo:

He literally thought he could use saline water to reconstitute a multiuse peptide vial for over a month.

No wonder why Tracy has an attitude. Imagine dealing with these guys.

You guys serious?
I'm sure it will be ok for GH if I use the vial in 6 days, but how about reta if it takes more than 2 weeks? Thanks
So I'll answer since none of you did..Depends. At the 2 week mark I'll prefer to go BAC. But use straight WFI for generally if vial is used up within a week.

That was his question.

Take a loss and admit most of you are grumpy fucks most of the time.

Oh man. You really showed them. I'm 36 and hate all of you.

It's not an age thing. It's the laziness, the lack of forum etiquette, the stupid questions that someone could easily take some time to look up and research.

Lots of people new to the forum are definitely a different breed. Very soft and sensitive. If I asked a retarded question I world expect someone to bust my balls about it. Not cry and ask why doesn't anyone want to be my friend and just tell me the sources contact info.

Alright, moderators are doing their job. If he believes that what I wrote somehow hurt the feelings of new forum members or violated the current standards, then those are the rules and I’m obviously not the one who gets to rewrite them.

For transparency, here’s the exact post that earned me a timeout in Steroid Underground until April. Anyone can read it and decide for themselves whether it was actual harassment… or just forum banter that landed a little too hard.

This seems like an excessive response, and not any different than comments I see from others every single day.

I’d much rather see anyone whose first post is trying to source, get slapped with a 6-8 wk read only ban.

You're right, and all the ppl (new and old members, I don't care) who answer them with 'source proposals' , a couple of weeks 'ban'....

Wow, there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with what you said . The action taken by @Millard feels like a massive “overreach” and at some point, calling this “moderation” stops making sense
Are we really at a place where vetted members have to “tiptoe” around new members to avoid a “timeout” or even an outright “ban”?? That’s a shift in control….. When long-standing members/contributors feel hesitant to speak freely, that’s not healthy for the forum. That’s Censorship and Mismanagement in practice!

for what its worth. @The Answ3r 1 year back suggested me a gyno surgeon in khazakshtan and to try a dish with horse meat!

absolute best resource of a vet member you can come around and we dont want him on the forum exactly because he made fun of someone who cant take 2 seconds to read(actually lead him in the right direction)?

theres so much unanswered in this thread and its likely not gonna change... been like this since i returned on dinfaralt account. left the forum for a few months and its ruined, hello what did i miss? XD

I've had the same experience. It is true that extremely low quality threads or threads in which the poster has admitted that he is underage are deleted quickly. However, I find that the moderating is not going far enough. I've seen quite a few instances in which very young, extremely uneducated, highly disagreeable users are allowed to continue to effectively troll the forum indefinitely without repercussion even after it's become very clear that they are both unable and unwilling to contribute anything of value.

As a member who only started contributing recently, it makes me question how much time and energy I want to invest here. A message forum is a fairly archaic platform at this point, and there's no reason to go to the trouble if I can just get the same experience on TikTok or Instagram.

I agree with you that these are growing pains, but I also think the forum is at a crossroads. It is probably tempting to want to grow the user base by allowing the maxxers in, but it will fundamentally change the forum for the worse in the long term.

@MESO-Rx Administrator please take a look at this

april? no posts in that thread until april? do you really think thats a deserved punishment? the guy has literally done nothing but answer a question with a funny but not personal remark

i really dont think thats a way to run a forum
