Well, maybe only I think it's interesting, but some of you may, too.
One of my coworkers said, "why did I have to be born poor" while lamenting his terrible predicament of actually having to work for a living.
I asked him how he planned on staying rich if he didn't work once he was rich. He brought up one of the owners of my company(he's 77 y/o) and how he is very rarely here anymore, prefering to spend his time in France.
I said, "dude, he worked for 50 fucking years already. On top of that, he gets a copy of EVERYTHING that goes on in here every day. He's still working even when he's not here."
To which someone remarked, "yeah, he's a republican" referring to me.
I find it very interesting that people associate working for a living and being proud of it with republicans. Perhaps, subconciously, even democrats know that democrats have no concept of work and/or fiscal responsibility.
For the record, I'm neither dem. or rep., but I'll vote Republican every time because I'd rather have MY money in my pocket and not yours.
