Tbh, the aspartate is also an excellent addition to a pre-workout. Obviously as long as your carbs are matched up. I make sure I have it matched with EAA's in my intra workout drink. Pumps are great. Glycogen gets loaded up and strength increase is legit. I've also been on roughly 6 or 8iu of GH for over a yr. I'm very vascular, lean, and solid. I attribute much of that to the GH and insulin combo paired with a good diet and workout regimen. I also check my BG every morning and only recently has it begun to rise. I have plenty of Lantus on hand if it continues to rise but it'll take a few weeks and likely some bloods for me to determine if I truly need it.
Anyways, that's a very rough outline of my experience with both GH and insulin. Obviously we all usually respond in a variety of different ways. Good luck. You're definitely being smart about it. No need to jump in. I will say, insulin use is generally much safer than is often talked about. You just have to follow some basic guidelines. For example, guys often think they need to pound hundreds of grams of simple carbs if they feel themselves going hypo. The reality is a dextrose tablet or two will be enough to stabilize things. You just can't workout for the rest of the day once you feel yourself going hypo. It happened to me once but I was well prepared for it with apple juice and dextrose tabs on hand. Also, I got on low dose Reta last month -mostly for lipid profile help due to androgen load - and have taken that into account when it comes to insulin use. I've lowered my usage and even stopped taking Berberine for awhile, just to assess sensitivity.
