Instant rice

Anything? Rice is like the most versatile side-dish/carb ever. Fish, shredded chicken, mince, ham, bacon, eggs, beef, tofu, edamame. You can even make some delicious sweet rice puddings with protein powders

Insta-pot is the best thing in the world for meal preps. What kinda stuff do you eat?
I cycle through pot roast, chicken noodle soup, carnitas, beef stew, and of course making an entire bag of rice in 15 minutes.
Lot of lean meats pork tenderloin, any lean cuts of beef I can find, vegetables random shit I’ll just throw in haha

I don't eat it myself. Regular white rice has had plenty of nutrition stripped from it. So instant rice is white rice that is processed and then reprocessed to remove even more nutrition. I try to optimize my nutrition as much as possible. Of course some others have a different end game then i do.

Instant rice is absolutely disgusting, it tastes horrid... just use a rice cooker. 1 cup cooks in like 5 minutes.

I don't think brown or other kinds of rice are that much healthier than white rice. I use either depending on what the dish flavors call for (generally I like brown for flavor, but some stuff like chinese or stews I like to use white since the flavor comes elsewhere), but like a single carrot or piece of broccoli added to your white rice would probably have more nutrition.

Personally I don't really eat rice unless it's a cheat/going out. Just much better and filling sources of nutrition. Or make room for ice cream.

A lot of the instant rice is enriched similar to breakfast cereal

I think there’s a higher arsenic presence in brown rice.

Personally I prefer potato’s regular russet or sweet. Very filling, high in potassium

Enriching a small select group of ingredients may be int a heavily processed food is better then not. But if that is the case i would think eating white bread could be considered a good healthy way to go. we all have our own comfort zone i find.

Handy when you are short on time but try stick to wild rice if you need to eat it. I used a pilau seasoning i sprinkle in for flavour. I love sweet potato atm as got bored of so much rice.. I'm a fucker for rice pudding . Fat bastard rice I call it
