Insomnia from Reta!??

Hey guys so i pinned like 2,5 mg of Reta on monday. I think you are suppose to start lower and slowly work your way up with your dosage, but here we are.

Now, i felt somewhat dizzy and had some light diarrhea the last days but thats nothing that would bother me.

However the last nights my sleep was COMPLETE SHIT. Basically i could stay asleep for more than 1h. I woke up this night at least 6 times. Coukdnt find a good sleeping condition, and as i said could stay asleep.

The first day i dient thought much about it but after the last night it really pisses me off.

I cant realky think of anything else that causes this. I also started with some GHRP peptides again (CJC no dac + GHRP-2) but these usually improve my sleep. Never had a bad reaction on them.

Any advise? Is this a common sideeffect? Was my first dosage to high?

as my dose goes up my sleep gets worse, currently at 3mg every 3 days (~7mg/wk). usually fall asleep around 11pm and im lucky if i can sleep until 4am and thats with waking up multiple times a night. tried mag glycinate, mag l-threonate, melatonin, glycine. nothing seems to help.1763396277556.webp

Ive been taking SLU pp332 750mcgs a day sometimes skipping a day or 2 and reta 500 mcg every other day. I wake up at 4 am now, Dont know which compound or if its a combination of them both.

Yeah I consistently wake up at 3am to pee quite a bit and can’t sleep. Going to bed is easy but I have been waking up in the middle of the night with quite a bit of energy.

I suspect it is the steep caloric deficit causing a cortisol spike at night. Either that or the glucagon agonist part consistently keeps your glucose and glycogen low, which would also lead to cortisol spiking at night and waking you up.

Overall, the results on Reta have been great but the insomnia + RHR increase isn’t worth it especially when you can get stronger appetite suppression from Sema/Tirz. Looking forward to finishing the rest of my Reta and diving into my Tirz stash to maintain my new set bodyfat/weight
would it be suggested to incorporate both sema + reta at low-mod. dosages of each to reap GIP + Glucagon benefits from reta along with appetite suppression from sema?

on 8mg reta currently, been reading through this thread and was curious about doing .25mg sema combined with 2-4mg reta for best of both worlds.

havent been able to sleep on my current reta dose. cortisol is sky high presumably due to RHR increase and glucagon.

Yeah, I've heard it can be hit or miss. Sounds like some people adjust after a few days like Luweez, but others don't. Maybe try some natural sleep aids in the meantime? ‍♂️
