I agree with your statement, if a scale registers at 5g with a 5g weight, the scale is accurate enough to weigh test raws.

I'm entertained by balco.. he is like a misunderstood AI computer lifeform who is in the begining stages of experiencing self awareness. I always picture him taking notes about how humans interact with eachother. He puts down his pen once in a while and stares at his hands, "look at these... what else can they be used for, besides writing and steroids..?". Occasionally plugging his finger into wall outlets and learning as much as he can from The Grid. Staring at people interacting at public parks, just harmlessly observing their behavior and mimicking their expressions, like Jeff Bridges in Starman . I have an 80's Speak & Spell app that reminds me of him..
