Ignore feature

My question is pretty simple....
If I choose to use the ignore feature on this site, does that mean the person I'm ignoring can no longer see my posts and such? Or can they still see my activity in the forum threads? Or vice versa, if they ignore me, can I no longer see their posts? Basically what I'm saying is, are they still seen by the rest of the community and just not me? Thank you all in advance!

No, I'm good. I know I'm on at least one guys ignore list.
