IGF1LR3 useful?

Hi guys, I planned on stacking IGF1LR3 on top of 400mg test for about 2 weeks (140mcg daily) towards the end of my bulk.

I’ve been reading up on IGF1LR3 and later found severely conflicting opinions regarding it.

Some say 50mcg - 100mcg daily has given people amazing pumps and growth post cycle. Others say even 200mcg daily is too low for any meaningful amount of IGF1-induced muscle growth. Some even say just to limit daily doses to as low as 10mcg - 20mcg to prevent oversaturation of the IGF receptors.

Could I please know what some of you guys think about this?

I’ll share my experience, not theory.

I use good IGF-1 LR3 from a reliable source, and I never start high. I start at 10 mcg and gradually increase, with 50 mcg being the absolute maximum for me.

I always take it post workout only.

Very important for me personally:

I first eat my post-workout meal with carbs, then about 10 minutes later I inject.

If I inject without eating carbs first, I get dizziness and mild hypoglycemia symptoms.

For context:

I do not run testosterone. I only run GH, no androgens.

Here’s what I actually noticed:
  • Strong muscle fullness (“swelling” effect)
  • Better recovery between sessions
  • Mild but noticeable muscle growth over time
  • Increased vascularity
  • Stronger pump
What I did not see:

  • Explosive growth from pushing the dose higher
  • Any benefit from going beyond 50 mcg
In my experience, IGF works better as a precision tool at moderate doses rather than blasting 100–200 mcg. Receptors saturate, and higher doses just increase systemic exposure and side effects without proportional gains.

Thank you, this is very well organized and rich in information.

I’ll continue waiting for more responses just in case others have diverging views. But your reasoning for keeping doses at 10-50mcg make a lot of sense.

I’ll keep what you said in mind and continue learning more about it to inform my decision later on.

Thank you man
