Ibogaine treatment

Wasn’t sure where to put this as it’s not sterons or rec drugs. More of a wellness tool I guess so I chose nutrition lol. Has anyone ever used iboga/ibogaine to treat addiction of any kind? I hear it’s amazing for breaking addiction to everything from opiates to food addictions. Just wondering how commonplace this treatment is amongst a bunch of ex addicts and outlaws that we seem to have a great mix of on these muscle boards. Share your success stories please.

Hello, sir.

take my friendly advice

I would say that I have some knowledge in psychiatry.
If we are talking about addiction here we need a serious drugs, GABA agents that penetrate the brain's blood barrier, antidepressants (serotonin-norepinephrine dopamine impacting), etc.
Addiction is a pathological restructuring of the brain, respectively, you need to take such drugs at best until the balance of neurotransmitters is restored, at worst until the formation of new neural connections - at least half a year.

Experiments with additives of unproven effectiveness(yes, ibogain is unproven still), against the background of pathological conditions in the absence of conservative treatment, can lead to tragedies.

There is evidence of positive effects of ibogaine, but every kind of psychiatric treatment must be carried out by a doctor because a person can never objectively assess his condition - only a subjective assessment, which is almost always wrong if we are talking about psychiatry.

So it is important to understand that self-treatment with ibogaine is dangerous and strongly discouraged. You can get the expected result and not harm only by taking ibogaine under medical supervision.

As far as I know, this substance is considered as a drug, so you'll have to open a research institute or something to avoid the legal risk.
The risk of self-damage by abuse is still there too

Good points. There are several ibogaine therapy facilities out there. Cabo and Costa Rica seem to be the top options. Most report a 70% success rate after 5 years. And that’s amazing compared to standard treatments for addictions.

I know that here, in europe ibogaine therapy are very rare and mostly semi-illegal.
The most famous(and legal one) was in Netherlands ... but...

I think the only one left is in Portugal https://ibogainetreatment.eu/contact-iboga-therapy-house/

You should look into the more current data. It’s unique and works on 2 levels. The most amazing being that it literally rewires the brain to factory default! That’s massive for those that have dug out pathways from bad addiction.

I have apparently closed out the pages in my search history where I found a bunch but if you google ibogaine treatment centers in Mexico and Costa Rica you will see several. Then click on each one’s website. From there they have links to the research.

so fascinating and disturbing they are keeping legitimate help from addicts. But it’s all there bro. Super exciting stuff. There’s also some forums I found where people are discussing it. But you can tell through research that they don’t want all this info going mainstream.

I believe they made a derivative of ibogaine called 18-mc.

18-MC has been synthesized to be non-hallucinogenic while maintaining ibogaine's anti-addictive properties. Mindmed is now preparing 18-MC for a Phase II FDA clinical trial targeting opioid use disorder.

If it ever gets approved for opiate treatment, mindmeds stock is going through the roof.

Working on those Ibogainz huh?

One of the few drugs ive never had the chance to use, that and mescaline and ketobemidone are the only 3 drugs left on my “bucket list”.

Ive heard many things about ibogaine and addiction curing, but i cant fathom how it would be anymore helpful at that than anyother heavy psychedelic like psilocybin or LSD.
