It depends how you look at it. I have enough money in investments to walk away from work before 50 and my stocks are doing great.

However the long term forcasts don't look good, all around the world people want the consumer lifestyle the USofA has enjoyed, they want the big vehicles, big houses, big dicks and big tits all bought on credit.

Suicides are at a all time high even before Covid, there's something more going on here other than just worrying about GDP, the people are starting to ask questions, poke the system with a stick and they want to pull back the curtain and see if this is all a big sham.

If you want to fix this system, you'll start focusing on efficiency, probably eliminate at least half the jobs that are currently in place as they are redundant and pointless. You'll start building with local materials that blend in with your surroundings and you'll look for the cheapest way to get it done. You'll look for ways to completely avoid debt, we all would have been better if we just got rid of the idea of borrowing money and enslaving people. How many Americans have had their brains scrambled by the incessant need to consume, they can't even think for themselves anymore, what they own is there identity there status, everything has to be according to societies dictates, people just can't seem to wake up and walk off.
