Vein shape is genetic....
Some people have straight ones, others “squiggly”
I don't know man.. I agree to an extent as to the PROPENSITY of OPPORTUNITY. But genetically speaking my biceps are developed far beyond my fathers or grand dads, and I am a clone of them... SO I cant be sure, but I WOULD SAY YES. But with the caveat that you must first PUSH CONDITIONS to the point to find out. My RT arm is starting to do it too now as well. Its almost like the vein is intended to run right down the center of the two bicep heads, and when you work them soo hard, it just detaches it from whatever holds it in place. Kinda sorta like those tendons that run thru the gaps on both sides of the elbows. You pull em too tight and they pop out eventually...
I think
@Ninjaturtle2020 said its going on in his right only. That kinda makes me feel better about it cause I was thinking maybe the left was a sign of cardio issues since that seems to be the side that gets attn in a heart attack... So I appreciate that reply as well...
I've supplemented arginine type supps, including Citrulline and agmatine which will both blow you up in a strong way. They may have increased the development I guess... But I can say for sure that genetically I have zero chance of varicose veins if we are just talking about veins blowing up for the sake of valve failure alone and regardless of training. Its just not in my line... But I have been limited in those supplements lately even cutting out creatine about a year ago...
Personally, if I were forced to bet on it, I would say that its enlargement of the vein due to having such a massive supply of blood to muscles that you work on (up and down), and ultimately the vein comes loose. The one variable I can't put my finger on is the fact that no matter how pumped up I get my biceps, it still seems to maintain its "Squiggle" as if not even the pump is stretching it straight again... I love working arms..
But there is no doubt its also starting to happen on my RT side as well its just a little behind.. Seems like when I trained when younger the RT side always looked bigger but only because it was the dominant arm and thus more defined, and then whenever I measured them, the left was truly bigger in circumference. Just not as defined. So it look like the smaller one as illusion.
For reference to those reading my BP does avg 145/90 give or take. Thats high borderline and higher than I need. I just dont know if high enough to cause vascular problems...
