how to stop email notifications

is there anyway to stop email notifications? deselected it on my profile however remains for threads I posted on pre the deselection.. if that makes sense..

You can choose which type of of email notifications you wish to receive here:

https://thinksteroids.com/community/account/preferences

There are 5 different types of notifications - 4 boxes to tick/untick and 1 drop-down menu to enable/disable.

Alternatively, there is a link at the bottom of the email notification message to disable the specific type of notification or all types of future notifications.
