Bought a Small fridge-freezer which is perm in the Master bedroom.
Was tired of answering questions or allying fears from visiting relatives, especially when someone sits you down and says: "...you know it's okay to talk about living with/surviving cancer..."

I keep my reconned gh and reta in a nondescript insulated zip pouch designed for insulin. If you’re unzipping my pouch and digging around you’re invading my privacy and deserve no explanation- obviously that’s not where I keep my ketchup.

But ‘hide’ is a strong word. It’s just to keep my kid from messing with it- she knows dad is on TRT and vitamins and my mother in law from asking questions- she’s nosy but not crazy.

The side benefit is that with the insulated pouch I can keep stuff in the door and not worry about temp fluctuations from opening & closing it- the default postion for temp stability is the back corner of the fridge.

My kids "all out of the house now for some time" always knew everything I took along with any serious girlfriend I ever had. I decided a long time ago "personal choice" that I didn't want to deal with trying to hide a bunch of shit and whoever getting pissed/scared if they ever found it.

That being said, I could see it with younger kids, however if they are basically mature, they shouldn't even want to mess with it in the first place.

Yeah mine’s a young teen but still gets anxious when her physical includes inoculation shots. She for damn sure isn’t gonna start pinning my stash and none of it is anything dangerous or could get you high.

Maybe if she was a sporty teen boy I’d be worried but she has negative interest in gear and just like she knows mom & dad love each other and sometimes the bedroom door is locked she knows I’m on TRT- the rest is nobody’s business unless you’re a gym bro in the ped club.

I keep my pens under the carrots and broccoli. I can go away for a week holiday and be sure that my (teenage) kids will never ever look in there.
