Cool, do you feel any side effects at dose that high? What about lower amount 5-10 grams, do you think it still provides you some benefits?

Na mate , i tried those low dosages but I don’t feel the same as with 20-30g

But again FOR ME PERSONALLY

I love creatine, but I generally can't take it due to unbearable shin pumps. I'm a hyper responder, and I will gain weight very quickly. This happens at any dose, even 1.5g creatine HCL taken a few times a week. In that week, I'll be up 10 pounds. That month, I'll be up 30 pounds. It's not only water weight either.

If I could take it and not have shin problems, it would be the only thing I would take.

20-30 g seems like a shit loaf. Could this be causing your electrolyte problem?

I don’t know , but right now I am not taking it (because I only place 1 big supplement order once all 3 months where is spend 300-350€ for whey creatin and eaas , and this time I fucked up and ordered a stim free pre workout booster instead of creatin because the package looks the same (it’s from bulkpowders) . And now I don’t have supplement money anymore . And I refuse to pay 30€ or more for 500g creatin when I can get the same amount online for like 10€

So right now I am not taking creatin and still having thoose problems

I actually just started taking it. Figured why not. Never really put much faith in over the counter suppliments but it’s obviously something that wouldn’t hurt and could potentially help, so I bought some

It is one of the only suppplements that studies show it actually works. Obviosuly not like AAS, but it does on a smaller scale.

l used to take 5-10 grams of creatine a day up and till l stopped it a couple of years ago. l didn't notice any difference taking it or not taking it, that might be because l eat 2 kilograms of beef steak a day and red meat is one of the highest food sources of creatine there is, so my body probably doesn't need anymore.

Take it with sugar/carbs because the insulin spike will send the creatine directly into your muscles.

Also, take it with salt or start consuming more salt, more potassium, more electrolytes overall.

Let us know how it works for you.

Only in my pre workout and in my Bang drink on days off. Used in my younger days many years ago 5 g per day. Tried again around 2 years ago and I used for about month and right kidney area felt sore, like a kidney stone was coming on so I stopped.

You may be interested to know that Bang doesn’t actually contain any useful amount of creatine. It contains “Super Creatine,” and only in a pixie-dusting amount (a term used to describe supplements that add a negligible amount of a substance just to be able to list it in marketing materials).

”As ThermoLife's Complaint explains in detail however, Super Creatine is NOT creatine, and contrary to VPX's false advertising, Super Creatine does NOT form creatine when ingested. The compound that VPX advertises as Super Creatine is actually a covalently bonded creatine dipeptide, NOT a bioavailable form of creatine. VPX deceptively takes advantage of the fact that consumers hearing the name Super Creatine are led to believe that Super Creatine has the same function and benefit of creatine in the body; i.e., Super Creatine is a source of creatine. But, as ThermoLife's Complaint alleges, the data included in VPX's own patent and the results of a study that VPX recently commissioned on Super Creatine in rodents proves that VPX knows that Super Creatine is not a source of creatine, and that VPX is fully aware that they are blatantly and intentionally lying to consumers.”

I also heard that creatine and kidney stones are links in the same chain.

Interesting, I see some members don't take creatine.

Would be also interesting to hear the reasons.
As I said earlier, I can't handle the severe shin pumps. Creatine basically gives me chronic compartment syndrome. I can't run, I can't even walk. If I didn't have this problem, it would be the only thing I'd use. I get the most extreme pumps in my whole body. I can move any muscle I want and get it pumped and burning without even using a weight. I'm a hyper responder. I've even considered injecting botox into my shin muscles to try and reduce the muscle I have.
